I think I should ask before doing - can I include important persons of Mad Max franchise here, i mean Mel Gibson and Vernon Wells? This category looks kind of incomplete without Gibson at least - cause he IS Mad Max. --Kloga 19:30, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

No, Clint Eastwood isn't listed under the Dirty Harry category so why should Mel or Vernon be under Mad Max?--Predator20 19:43, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
Ok, thanks. :) --Kloga 19:45, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Suggestions

Well, there are upcoming fourth movie (Tom Hardy as Max, Mel Gibson in cameo) and an upcoming game. I have a few suggestions/questions, whatever:

  • May I make articles for the game and the "Fury Road" movie already. It's not that much to cover but there are already a few things visible in what we have and, in, my opinion it's better to start early then to start late;
  • I also wanted to create a template for it.. Or is it just allowed to admins?
  • I also want to try to make a decent article of NES game. I know it was already written by me and deleted but game actually has a few realistic guns which is rare for NES console, so if I'll have a second chance, I'm eager to do it. Maybe, also, Outlander which was deleted from this category long ago still should be here for completeness? --Kloga (talk) 18:27, 16 December 2013 (EST)
You can make a Fury Road page once a trailer comes out, but since the release date is in May 2015, you might have to wait a while. The page for the NES game was deleted because it only had one gun that wasn't really clear. Outlander itself barely qualifies. --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:45, 16 December 2013 (EST)
There's not even a teaser, yet... :( New game by avalanche studios has even a few, though. By the way, do teaser trailers count? I'm thinking on improving Outlander greatly, by the way. As well as the NES game article, which should be more properly showcased, then I did the last time. --Kloga (talk) 20:25, 16 December 2013 (EST)
Pages for teasers have a horrible way of turning into incomplete pages, in my experience, especially if the movie/game sucks. (Aliens: Colonial Marines? Alex Cross?) As for the NES game, look around, there's a reason there aren't a lot of pages for 8-bit games here. --Funkychinaman (talk) 22:42, 16 December 2013 (EST)
I made a Hobo with a Shotgun page from a trailer, and, though I'm ashamed for not being able to finish it (licensed DVD of that movie is rare in Ukraine), I must admit, it covered most of the firearms. I doesn't have a category "sucks" for movies that I'm covering here (I'm rather indifferent to film Sisters (Syostry) but still made an article). I'll do my best to cover as much as possible. About 8-bit game - yep, that's the point. Games with decent firearms were quite rare till FPS boom, so as an avid retro-gamer I feel rather obliged to cover them. :) Oh, and another thing - I've found that a motion comic (animated) prequel to video game premiered at Comic-Con and was released as a web mini-series (separated in two 2,5-minute parts). I'm adding it to IMDb and already on my way to add it here also, because of at least two suddenly well-drawn firearms (one of which seems to be drawn from a real thing - I'm working on that). --Kloga (talk) 14:25, 17 December 2013 (EST)
Web series have to be cleared by the admins. Don't assume it's eligible. As for 8-bit games, they're not around because the graphics weren't good enough to make a proper ID of the gun possible. Don't feel you have to stretch the rules. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:38, 17 December 2013 (EST)
I'm not feeling as such, just want a few cultural layers which I like, being covered properly there, they deserve. By the way, if Web products (series, stand-alone webisodes of normal television series, co-called web original shows...) category will appear (I hope to be a pioneer), then how to name it? --Kloga (talk) 14:42, 17 December 2013 (EST)
They've been listed under Television for now. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:47, 17 December 2013 (EST)
