Black Lightning is a superhero television series based on a DC Comics character of the same name. Cress Williams stars as Jefferson Pierce, a retired superhero known as "Black Lightning", due to his ability to manipulate electricity. Now working as a high school principal, Jefferson soon returns to the world of crime fighting when a gang proceeds to gain power in the city of Freeland. The series premiered on January 16 of 2018 in the US. The series was originally developed for the FOX channel, but later was picked up to series by the CW. Despite its premiere on the CW, this DC series is not officially part of that network's Arrowverse.

The following lists the weapons used in Season 1 of the series Black Lightning:

Contents

Handguns

Beretta 92FS

Will (Dabier) carries Beretta 92FS as his pistol of choice (S1E01). Some of the thugs at Seahorse Motel appear to be carrying Berettas, as well as a policeman who stops Jefferson Pierce's (Cress Williams) car and a club security. (S1E01).

Beretta 92F - 9x19mm. The cosmetic differences are very slight and hard to see between this gun and the newer 92FS. Most of the changes are the inner workings of the gun.

Glock 17

Lala (Will Catlet) carries Glock 17 as his primary sidearm.

Two police officers which arrive to investigate the shooting at club 100 are armed with Taser X26P (S1E01). Interestingly enough, both police officers carry models X26P which usually feature Taser Cam and yet no footage of the incident show up later, either due to cops keeping the feature unused or Pierce burning up the cameras by his powers.
