Handguns

Colt New Service

A Colt New Service is seen wielded by Governor Kolp (Severn Darden).

Model 1909 Colt Army Revolver - .45 LC. This model is stamped "Property of U.S. Government" under barrel and "M1909" on front bottom of grip strap. Grips not original - US issue bore plain uncheckered walnut.

Colt Detective Special

A recap of Escape from the Planet of the Apes shows Cornelius (Roddy McDowall) with a Colt Detective Special near the end of the film.

Colt Detective Special 1st Gen - .38 Special

Webley MK VI revolver

In a recap of Conquest of the Planet of the Apes, a government officer is seen with the Webley Mk VI revolver.

Webley Mk. VI - .455 Webley. Many were imported into the U.S. converted to .45 acp using full or half moon clips.

Submachine Guns

M1928A1 Thompson

The M1928A1 Thompson is used by both Apes and Mutants, notably the gorilla leader Aldo (Claude Akins).

Madsen M50

The unmodified Madsen M50 submachine gun is seen carried by Caesar (Roddy McDowall), Virgil (Paul Williams), as well as their human assistant MacDonald (Austin Stoker) as they travel to the Forbidden City. A visually modified Madsen M50 was one of the futuristic weapons used by the apes in Beneath the Planet of the Apes.

Rifles

M16 (SP1)

The M16 (SP1) rifle is used by both the Apes as well as by the mutants.

M1 Garand

Apes are seen using the M1 Garand as well in the final battle.

A Gorilla soldier behind Virgil (Paul Williams) fires an M1 rifle at the approaching humans during the titular battle. It is clearly an M1 rifle because of the visible operating rod.
M1s are seen on Mandemus's weapons cache table. They can be distinguished from the M1 Carbines by the operating rods.

M1 Carbine

The M1 Carbine is seen used by both the Apes and the Mutants in the final battle. A visually modified M1 Carbine was used in the first two films.

The Modern Manufactured version of the M1 Carbine, with standard stock, from Auto-Ordnance (affiliated with Kahr Arms and Thomson Arms). Chambered in .30 Carbine
