Alex Rider is a British spy thriller series based on the books written by author and screenwriter Anthony Horowitz. It focus on teenager Alex Rider (Otto Farrant) after he is recruited as an agent for the MI6 Department of Special Operations after the death of his uncle. The book series was previously adapted as the 2006 movie Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker starring Alex Pettyfer as Alex Rider and Damian Lewis as Yassen Gregorovitch.
Season 1 adapts the second book Point Blanc, and stars Haluk Bilginer as cloning scientist Dr. Hugo Greif and Ana Ularu as Eve Stellenbosch.
Season 2 adapts the third book Eagle Strike, starring Toby Stephens as tech billionaire Damian Cray and Charithra Chandran as Rider's love interest Sabina Pleasance.
