Young Sherlock Holmes is a 1985 mystery adventure film directed by Barry Levinson and written by Chris Columbus. The film is based on characters created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, but the story is an original one, depicting young Sherlock Holmes (Nicholas Rowe) and John Watson (Alan Cox) meeting at a boarding school (in contradiction with Conan Doyle works) and solving a mystery of a secret cult.

Flintlock Knee Pistol

Several patrons of the Lower Nile Tavern have Flintlock Pistols. They have small buttstocks and appear to be kind of "Knee pistol".

Shotguns

Percussion Cap Blunderbuss

Khasek (Nadim Sawalha), the owner of Lower Nile Tavern, raises a Blunderbuss when he and the patrons of the tavern drive away young Holmes and Watson. The blunderbuss has percussion cap lock, and its details allow to guess that the gun was converted from a flintlock.

Double Barreled Shotgun

A Double Barreled Shotgun is seen in hands of insane bancker Chester Cragwitch (Freddie Jones).

One of the patrons of Lower Nile Tavern holds a Sawed-off Double Barrel Shotgun.

What appear to be a Single Barreled Shotgun is briefly seen in hands of a cemetery doorkeeper.
