'''Yakuza 0''' (Japanese: 龍が如く0 誓いの場所| '''Ryū ga Gotoku Zero: Chikai no Basho''' Lit. ''Like a Dragon 0: The Place of Oath'') is a Japanese video game released in March 2015 in Japan, January 2017 in English-speaking regions, and on Microsoft Windows in August 2018. It is a prequel to the ''Yakuza'' series, set in December 1988, in Kamurocho and Sotenbori, fictional versions of Tokyo's Kabukicho and Golden Gai, and Osaka's Dotonbori respectively. The game follows a 20-year-old Kazuma Kiryu and 24-year-old Goro Majima as they uncover the mystery of an empty lot in the middle of Kamurocho whose worth has attracted the attention of some of Japan's biggest criminal enterprises. Many of the gun models on this game feature on the later ''Kiwami'' titles, including the SIG Pro, which was not actually released in real life until over a decade after this game is set.

This pistol is used by Jin Oda; he lends it to Kiryu during the car chase sequence. The gun is called the CZ-75 in the game files, and has features from the [[CZ 75#CZ 75 SP-01 PHANTOM|SP-01 PHANTOM]] type, as well as the [[SIG-Sauer P220 pistol series##SIG-Sauer P226|SIG P226]]. Interestingly, the SP-01 only went into production in 2012, which may be partly why they made it resemble a P226 instead.

Returning again from Binary is the same P226/USP hybrid pistol, both as the "Modified Air Gun" as well as the primary sidearm of Jin Oda and used by Kiryu in a car chase against the Shibusawa Family. Like in Kiwami, the in-game files list it as a CZ-75 but the overall design is a match for the hybrid gun.

SPOILERS.jpg WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!

The following weapons appear in the video game Yakuza 0:

Handguns

1911-Derived Pistol

The weirdly shapen 1911 variant from Kiwami first arrives, mostly as the sidearm of main antagonist Keiji Shibusawa. While it's details are muddled, it mostly resembles a Para Ordnance LDA with a few skewed features.

Para Ordnance LDA 7.45

Beretta 92FS

A Beretta 92FS is the primary sidearm of Masaru Sera, who uses it greatly in the story and gives it to Majima near the end.

Majima with the Beretta-type pistol. Like the earliest versions of the Beretta 92, there is a noticeable "step" in the slide.

Makarov PM

Akira Nishikiyama and a number of other Yakuza members use Makarov PM pistols, albeit this time painted in flat black.

SIG P226/USP

Returning again from Binary is the same P226/USP hybrid pistol, both as the "Modified Air Gun" as well as the primary sidearm of Jin Oda and used by Kiryu in a car chase against the Shibusawa Family. Like in Kiwami, the in-game files list it as a CZ-75 but the overall design is a match for the hybrid gun.

SIG Pro

The SIG Pro is used by Daisuke Awano (Riki Takeuchi) in the scene where he meets Kiryu in a closed disco. As stated earlier, this is a model used in later games and is anachronistic for the games 1988 setting.

Type 67 silenced pistol

This Chinese pistol is used by master assassin Lao Gui. The game files describe it as a type 64, but it more closely resembles a type 67, as the former features a large bulge underneath the barrel. The type of ammunition it fires is also known as Type 64, so they may simply have been referring to this. The trigger guard resembles that of a CZ 38.

CZ 38 - 9×17mm Browning Short

Revolvers

Nambu Model 60

The Nambu Model 60 appears as the "Double Action Revolver" and it is the standard issue pistol for Japanese police officers. In game it is notable in a scene where it's used by a corrupt police officer to shoot Biliken and Nishitani.

Nambu Model 60 snub nose - .38 Special.
The corrupt officer reveals his plans to Nishitani and Majima while threatening them with his Model 60. This later comes to bite said cop when the 5 shot capacity fails to stop Nishitani in time.

Other

Molotov Cocktail

On the "boat raid" scene, a couple of Kashiwagi's men throw Molotov Cocktails against Shibusawa's.
