The X-Files: Fight the Future
The X-Files: Fight the Future is the 1998 feature film continuation of the sci-fi television series. In the film (set between the fifth and sixth seasons of the series), FBI Special Agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) have been dismissed from the X-Files, but when they investigate the bombing of a government building, it leads them to further uncover the secrets behind the deep underlying conspiracy they've been investigating throughout the television series. After the film's release, the series would continue for four more seasons and would eventually lead to a second feature film, 2008's The X-Files: I Want to Believe.
