The X-Files: Fight the Future is the 1998 feature film continuation of the sci-fi television series. In the film (which takes place in-between the fifth and sixth seasons of the series), FBI Special Agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) have been dismissed from the X-Files, but when they investigate the bombing of a government building, it leads them to further uncover the secrets behind a long-running conspiracy they've been investigating throughout the television series.
The feature was filmed during the hiatus in-between the fourth and fifth seasons of the series, and was shot in Los Angeles, instead of Vancouver (where the show was being filmed at the time). After the film's release, the series would continue for four more seasons and would eventually lead to a second feature film, 2008's The X-Files: I Want to Believe.

After Scully is stung by an Africanized Honey Bee carrying an alien virus, she falls into a coma and is given medical attention by paramedics who turn out to be Syndicate agents. The "Black-Haired Man" (Michael Shamus Wiles), posing as the ambulance driver, aims and fires a SIG-Sauer P226 at Mulder through the ambulance's window glass.
Beretta Cheetah
After Mulder survives his assassination attempt, the 'Well-Manicured Man' (John Neville) approaches him and briefs him on Scully's location and a possible vaccine for the alien virus. He then pulls a Beretta Cheetah which he uses to "encourage" Mulder to proceed with his new mission.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
A Heckler & Koch MP5A3 is slung over the shoulder of one of the black-ops guards that accompany the 'Cigarette-Smoking Man' (William B. Davis) into the Antarctic complex where Scully (Gillian Anderson) is being held.
Flamethrower
At the end of the film, a black site in the middle of Texas used to grow transgenic corn and house Africanized Honey Bees in order to propagate an alien virus is shown being dismantled. During this sequence, a flamethrower is used to destroy the corn, as the site was previously compromised by Mulder and Scully.
