The following guns were used in the movie Windtalkers
1911
Both Sergeant Joe Enders (Nicolas Cage) and Sergeant Peat 'Ox' Andersen (Christian Slater) pack 1911 pistols.
Nambu 14th Year
The Nambu is seen briefly when a Japanese officer attempts to pull one out before Yahzee stabs him with a bayonet on his captured Arisaka.
M1 Garand
Seen used by US Marines in the entire movie. It is also used by Pappas and Nellie.
M1 Carbine
Used by Yahzee (Adam Beach) and Whitehorse (Roger Whillie). Yahzee at first never uses the weapon until the final battle where he is enraged about Whitehorse's death.
M1928 Thompson
The drum mag "Gangster" thompson is seen used by Enders (Nicolas Cage) in the opening battle on the Soloman Islands. Later the straight clip is used both by Enders and Henderson (Christian Slater)
Browning Automatic Rifle
Used by Chick (Noah Emmerich) thoughout the entire movie.
Arisaka Type 99 Rifle
The Arisaka Rifle Type 99 was used by Imperial Japanese Soldiers as their main service rifle. Most of the time with an added bayonet. Yahzee later uses one when he created a plan to disguise himself as a Japanese soldier to try and steal a radio.
