They have a 2.5" rifled barrel that slides forewards to load the pistol are are very small little pistols. rumour has it that they made just a handfull of them in .38RF also, but they mainly came in the .41RF (short) witch is the same cartridge that the famous [[Remington 1866 Derringer]] fires also.  These are a rather rare pistol.
