US Marines and Sgt. Hurd (Sterling K. Brown) can be seen armed with the M16A4 rifle.

In the center and in the background, US Marines are armed with the rifle. They appear to be wearing PASGT helmets and SWD goggles, which would be anachronistic since they were replaced by LWH helmets and ESS goggles respectively by the mid-2000s.

Norinco Type 56-1

Both Kim Barker (Tina Fey) and Ali Massoud Sadiq (Alfred Molina) are seen using Norinco Type 56-1 assault rifles.
