We Want the Colonels (Vogliamo i colonnelli) is a 1973 Italian political comedy directed by Mario Monicelli. Giuseppe Tritoni (Ugo Tognazzi), a ultra-right-wing politican, plans a coup d'etat together with several army and navy high rank officers. Only a series of grotesque comical obstacles prevent them from a success.

Most of conspirators, including Giuseppe Tritoni (Ugo Tognazzi), carry Beretta Model 70 pistols. They are also seen in hands of carabiniers in the final scene.
