Winter Wind (Zimniy veter) is the second film of Soviet TV series Waves of the Black Sea (Volny Chyornogo morya) (filmed in 1975, released in 1976). It is a screen adaptation of the novel "Zimniy veter" by Valentin Kataev. It is set in the city of Odessa on the Black Sea coast and depicts the fate of the main characters, Petya (Pyotr) Bachey and Gavrik (Gavrila) Chernoivanenko, during the World War 1 and Russian revolution 1917.

Revolvers
Nagant M1895
Russian Army officers, including Praporshchik (Ensign rank) Petya Bachey (Evgeniy Leonov-Gladyshev), and revolutionaries, including Gavrik Chernoivanenko (Vladimir Volkov), widely use Nagant M1895 revolvers. These revolvers are of anachronistic post-1930 version.

Pistols
Mauser C96 "Bolo"
Sinichkin (Fyodor Panasenko), the Commissar of the Odessa revolutionary Committee, carries a Mauser C96 "Bolo" pistol. During the funeral of slain Red Guards, same pistol is carried by Rodion Zhukov (Sergey Nikonenko). "Bolo" is out of time for 1917.

A sailor carries a Mauser pistol in holster. While the holster is for standard C96, the pistol is possibly the same "Bolo" that is seen in other scenes.
Sinichkin carries a Mauser C96 in holster.

M1911A1
In one scene Pyotr Bachey (Evgeniy Leonov-Gladyshev) gets an M1911A1 pistol, standing for original M1911 that were were supplied to Russia in 1917.
World War II Colt M1911A1 - .45 ACP. This was an issued U.S. Army pistol with parkerized finish, thus the official designation of M1911A1

FN Model 1906
Iren Zarya-Zaryanitskaya (Galina Fedotova) owns an FN Model 1906 pocket pistol.

Unidentified pistol
Gen. Zarya-Zaryanitskiy (Aleksandr Lazarev, Sr.), Iren's father, owns a compact pistol that is seen briefly and unclear. It resembles Astra 300 but this guess cannot be proved.

Rifles
Mosin Nagant M1891/30
Russian Army soldiers and Red Guards are mostly armed with Mosin Nagant M1891/30 rifles, standing for original M91s.

Revolutionary soldiers and sailors carry rifles with bayonets, attached backwards (purely cinematical practice). Note that the bayonets are of M91/30 version, and some rifles have hooded sights that is also a sign of M91/30.

udarniki) of Russian Army.

Machine Guns
Maxim M1910 or M1910/30
Red Guards use Maxim machine guns. It's hard to say if these are Maxim M1910 or Maxim M1910/30 (if the water jacket is smooth, Maxim is most likely M1910, and if it is corrugated, both M1910 and M1910/30 are possible).

Other Weapons
F-1 Hand Grenade
In one scene Gavrik Chernoivanenko (Vladimir Volkov) carries an F-1 hand grenade, probably standing for British Mills Bomb or French F1.

Praporshchik Zhora (Georgiy) Kolesnichuk (
Sergei Podgornyj) carries a Nagant holster.
Petya Bachey, now the commander of Red Guards armoured train, carries a Nagant holster.
Artillery
A naval cannon of Crimean (Eastern) War era is installed in Odessa as a monument. This cannon was raised from British steam frigate HMS Tiger that participated in The Bombardment of Odessa in 1854 and ran aground in the vicinity of the city.
A 76.2mm M1902 field gun is used by Red Guards.
A field gun is mounted on Red Guards armoured train.
