War for the Planet of the Apes is the 2017 sequel to 2011's Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The third installment in this "reboot" series, War finds the intelligent apes led by Caesar doing battle with an army of humans led by Colonel McCullough (Woody Harrelson). Shotguns

Winchester Model 1912

Caesar (Andy Serkis) uses a stainless Winchester Model 1912 as his main weapon for most of the film. One Alpha/Omega soldier can be seen with what looks like a Model 1912 with a sawed-off stock strapped to his back during the Muir Woods battle.

Remington Model 1100

Luca (Michael Adamthwaite) keeps a stainless Remington Model 1100 with a sawed-off barrel and stock in one of his horse's saddlebags in the film. When Bad Ape (Steve Zahn) steals the horse, he uses the shotgun to fire at Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his companions as they give chase before giving it back to them when cornered.

Rifles/Carbines

M4A1 Carbine

Many Alpha/Omega and Northern Army soldiers use M4A1 Carbines fitted with various attachments. Rocket (Terry Notary) takes an M4A1 from an Alpha/Omega soldier and uses it during the film's climax.
