She uses the revolver in "Strangers" (S5E02) and "Consumed" (S5E06). This revolver is the one Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) takes from Carol for self defense in "Forget" (S5E13). After a fight, Rick is seen pulling out the revolver in "Try" (S5E15).

Among the officers who are seen drawing their sidearms include Dawn Lerner (Christine Woods), Bob Lamson (Maximiliano Hernández), and Shepherd (Teri Wyble). In "Strangers" (S5E02), Rick (Andrew Lincoln) continues to carry his Type 56 with fixed polymer stock and slant muzzle brake. Several of the Terminus inhabitants including Gareth (Andrew J. West) and Martin (Chris Coy) carry Type 56 rifles with normal wood furniture in "Four Walls and a Roof" (S5E03). In "Crossed" (S5E07), Daryl (Norman Reedus) uses the rifle. M16A1 with 20 round magazine - 5.56x45mm. What distinguishes it from the original M16 was the addition of a raised rib around the magazine release button, changing of the forward Receiver pins, and the addition of the forward assist button on the upper receiver.

M16

Starting with "Coda" (S5E08), Abraham's appears to use the original M16 that was previously carried by the Claimer Tony in Season 4. Abraham opens fire with an M16 to wend off the walkers in "Spend" (S5E14).

The original M16, the first version, firing in a 20-round magazine, adopted in large numbers by the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. This has the original 3-prong flash hider. It would later be replaced by the upgraded M16A1 - 5.56x45mm

Beginning in "Four Walls and a Roof" (S5E03), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) is seen armed with custom AR-15-type rifle fitted with a night vision scope as well as a suppressor. Sasha's rifle appears to have a Seekins Precision Billet upper along with the matching Seekins Precision Gen2 lower. In "Forget" (S5E13), Sasha uses her rifle to take target practice. In Season 5's final "Conquer" (S5E16), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) is seen armed with her AR-15 at the end of episode.

Tyreese (Chad Coleman) continues to carry an M1 Carbine at the beginning of Season 5. In Season 5's premiere "No Sanctuary" (S5E01), Carol (Melissa McBride) takes the M1 Carbine and carries it during her assault on Terminus. Tyreese gets his M1 back in "Strangers" (S5E02) and later is seen with the M1 Carbine when in Atlanta in "Crossed" (S5E07) and "Coda" (S5E08). The M1 Carbine is notably seen in the hands of Noah in "Them" (S5E10) and briefly in "Remember" (S5E12). In "Spend" (S5E14), Noah (Tyler James Williams) carries the M1 Carbine while on a run.

In Season 5's premiere "No Sanctuary" (S5E01), Carol is seen armed with what appears to be an M16A4 rifle fitted with a Magpul MOE collapsible stock, low profile gas block, sniper scope, and a TangoDown ACB-4 bipod. She uses the rifle to detonate a propane tank at Terminus in the episode. Both Carol (Melissa McBride) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) are seen carrying the rifle in "Strangers" (S5E02). The rifle also is seen in the hands of Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Noah (Tyler James Williams) as well in "Consumed" (S5E06). In "Remember" (S5E12), Carol (Melissa McBride) gives up her rifle.

This rifle is among the ones that the group takes to Atlanta in "Crossed" (S5E07). Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) holds the rifle in "Coda" (S5E08). In "Spend" (S5E14), the rifle appears to be used when walkers attack a construction area.

Rick's Buried Bag of Guns

In Season 5's premiere "No Sanctuary" (S5E01), the bag of weapons buried by Rick is recovered at the end of the episode. Earlier in the episode, when questioned about the contents of the bag, Rick tells Gareth it had an "AK-47, .44 Magnum, automatic weapons, nightscope, compound bow and a machete with a red handle." It appears that the majority of the weapons in the bag were carried by the Claimers in Season 4. Among the weapons seen carried by the group are a Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine, Remington 870 Wingmaster, an Uzi, and an WASR-10/63 in addition to Rick's own Colt Python. In "Strangers" (S5E02), Michonne appears to carry the Tony's .44 Mag S&W 29 snub which presumably was be in the bag. Various boxes of ammunition from the bag are visible on the table in "Four Walls and a Roof" (S5E03).

Terminus Storeroom

Alexandria Arsenal

Beginning in "Forget" (S5E13), the Alexandria community is seen storing their firearms in a special room in one of the houses. The majority of the rifles and shotguns are stored on gun racks. Carol also notices that several boxes in the storage area are filled with handguns of various calibers, from which she takes a few pistols and revolvers at the end of the episode.
