Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) can be seen firing a Smith & Wesson M&P pistol that she took off of Officer Gorman in "Slabtown" (S5E04). Among the officers who are seen drawing their sidearms include Dawn Lerner (Christine Woods), Bob Lamson (Maximiliano Hernández), and Shepherd (Teri Wyble). The pistols are prominently seen in "Crossed" (S5E07) and "Coda" (S5E08). Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) also appears to use the pistol in "Coda" (S5E08). Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) is also holds the Norinco Type 56 during the pass in Season 5's premiere "No Sanctuary" (S5E01). In "Strangers" (S5E02), Rick (Andrew Lincoln) continues to carry his Type 56 with fixed polymer stock and slant muzzle brake. Several of the Terminus inhabitants including Gareth (Andrew J. West) and Martin (Chris Coy) carry Type 56 rifles with normal wood furniture in "Four Walls and a Roof" (S5E03). In "Crossed" (S5E07), Daryl (Norman Reedus) uses the rifle. Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) carry a Norinco Type 56 rifle as second personal weapon in "What Happened and What's Going On" (S5E09).

Beginning in "Four Walls and a Roof" (S5E03), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) is seen armed with custom AR-15-type rifle fitted with a night vision scope as well as a suppressor. A rifle with similar features is carried by Glenn (Steven Yeun) in several episodes, notably "Self-Help" (S5E05). These rifles appear to have Seekins Precision Billet uppers along with the matching Seekins Precision Gen2 lowers. Sasha and Glenn rent out their rifles in "Remember" (S5E12).

Tyreese gets his M1 back in "Strangers" (S5E02) and later is seen with the M1 Carbine when in Atlanta in "Crossed" (S5E07) and "Coda" (S5E08). The M1 Carbine is seen in the hands of Noah in "Them" (S5E10). Noah rent out M1 Carbine in "Remember" (S5E12).

In Season 5's premiere "No Sanctuary" (S5E01), Carol (Melissa McBride) enters a room in Terminus containing several weapons, including Daryl's crossbow. She then takes it and gives it back to Daryl (Norman Reedus).

Rick's Buried Bag of Guns

In Season 5's premiere "No Sanctuary" (S5E01), the bag of weapons buried by Rick is recovered at the end of the episode. Earlier in the episode, when questioned about the contents of the bag, Rick tells Gareth it had an "AK-47, .44 Magnum, automatic weapons, nightscope, compound bow and a machete with a red handle." It appears that the majority of the weapons in the bag were carried by the Claimers in Season 4. Among the weapons seen carried by the group are a Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine, Remington 870 Wingmaster, an Uzi, and an WASR-10/63 in addition to Rick's own Colt Python. In "Strangers" (S5E02), Michonne appears to carry the Tony's .44 Mag S&W 29 snub which presumably was be in the bag. Various boxes of ammunition from the bag are visible on the table in "Four Walls and a Roof" (S5E03).
