The Walking Dead (2010 - present)

The Walking Dead is a television post-apocalyptic horror series that follows a group of survivors led by Deputy Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) as they struggle to stay alive after a pandemic has turned nearly the entire earth's population into zombies. The series, which premiered on AMC in the US in 2010, was adapted for television by Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption) from the Image comic book series co-created by Robert Kirkman.
