The Pistolet WZ. 35 VIS (aka RADOM) is a high end semiautomatic pistol developed and built by Poland prior to the years of World War II. When the Germans invaded, they took the tooling and moved it to the Steyr plant where they continued the production and issue the same pistol to their own troops. Many English and American Gun sources refer to the pistol as the "Polish RADOM Pistol" primarily because it was designed and built initially at the state armory in Radom, Poland, however this designation is not recognized by other European sources and most importantly, the Poles themselves don't call their own handgun 'Radom'. However, its moniker as the "Radom Pistol" is so widespread, that it is necessary to list it in the title for search purposes.
