The MP5SD3 is actually a MP5SD-N1 which is noted by its Navy trigger group.--SB2296 16:41, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

As you can see the difference between a SEF trigger group and a Navy trigger group is the presence of bullet pictograms(as seen in MP5A4/A5) on the latter one, which IS the case in OFP.--SB2296 09:36, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Zombies Wiki

Are you the same user on the Zombies Wiki? The reason why I asked is because the MattyDeinhoff on the Zombies Wiki uploaded firearm pictures from Imfdb and those pictures are only authorized for Imfdb according to MoviePropMaster2008. - Kenny99 14:21, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Yes, that's me. I was at the time under the impression that images uploaded to wikis were in the public domain (as they often are in Wikimedia commons). This is a completely different website, I know, but I didn't put very much thought into it at the time, beyond providing credit. That's stupid and is no excuse, I know, but that's what I was thinking at the time. I'll propose them for deletion on copyright grounds. Technically yes, since going from level one to two is the logical progression, I'm just trying it this way for appearance reasons. Due to the sheer number of entries, I think it looks better without all the extra dividing lines that were present when I used level two headings. The table of contents still works as intended, is there another reason it shouldn't be done this way?

By the way, I have a little trick for making lots of little formatting changes quickly, I copy and paste the article text into Notepad, search for the item I want to change (like, say: "=="), and use Replace All to insert the new item in its place (in this case, "==="). I see! Thanks for directing me to that, it'll be very helpful. I was honestly not aware there was a style guide, I can't find any mention of it in the rules, so I was using other articles (this one in particular, which uses level 3 headers) for reference on style and layout. Although there was already an unofficial standard amongst the admins here, the Style Guide was our attempt to codify them all in one spot. With the Style Guide in place, we can now point new users toward it as a framework of how a complete page is supposed to look. I'm sure you will still find things like level 3 headings and links in subheadings amongst the older pages that existed prior to the Style Guide coming into effect. --Funkychinaman (talk) 02:40, 7 January 2014 (EST)

I noefforted it when I realized it was just a list with no link or images and hadn't been worked on in two months. Even if you're still getting the screenshots, you can still write some descriptions and put up some weapon images. (BTW, all pages are supposed to be original. Hello, I'm a JeremyCarl from the SoD wiki. Great work on the page. You dropped a message on my talk page saying I was welcome to use the images here, but I still think I should ask again. And I'm really interested in knowing how you took clean screenshots of the firearms. Did it involve using mods?

Hi again! I didn't actually capture the isolated shots myself, Undead Labs' weapon modeler Brant Fitzgerald kindly offered to provide those for the article, so I guess the answer is "dev powers". :D
