RE: fantasy weapons in general ....... The author of Einhander, should, realize though that IMFDB strives to identify REAL GUNS, not fake guns.  I had a list of the criteria of fake guns that we accept (a) it must be something based in real life (b) It must be realistic enough to confuse the general public who might 'wonder' of it is based on a real gun (c) It must be a fantasy weapon with a real gun inside (movies/tv only) or (d) there must be something about the weapon which will make the public think it's real or possibly real.  That is why we have an entry for ERASER's rail gun.  Too many idiots in the general public kept on asking us "Is that for real?"  But something like a Star Trek phaser is off limits.  No one in their right mind would think that's real or based on a real weapon.  Hope this helps.  [[User:MoviePropMaster2008|MoviePropMaster2008]] 19:09, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

RE G36K

The Dragon/SuperDragon has little to no resemblance to the G36K Chances are that it is a completely different weapon design with influences from the M16 (Ejection port, magazine, and carryhandle). Also The Falcon 2 has much more resemblance to the Double Eagle then the AMT Hardballer, that "laserlock" sight is not part of the Hardballer system and is an addon. --AdAstra2009 01:45, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

Look at a picture of the Colt Double Eagle and the Falcon 2, they look exactly the same --AdAstra2009 02:00, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

just because it's scope is the length of the whole pistol does not mean it's a reference to Terminator --AdAstra2009 02:09, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
now compare the grip to this and the how the frame where the trigger guard is gradually rises until the end of the slide http://world.guns.ru/handguns/hg169-e.htm --AdAstra2009 02:28, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

Re: KF7 Soviet

If you look at the front sight of the KF7, it looks more like the hooded front sight of the Norinco-series AK's, a main distinguishing feature of that weapon. As for the M16, the M16A3 is the full-auto version of the M16A2, with the A2 firing only 3-shot bursts. For the RPG, the Type 69 has only a single pistol grip (whereas the RPG-7 has two). As for the 'giant grey cylinder' look, I can't say anything except for creative licensing on the part of the game designers. Hope this explains the logic behind my calls on that page. Perfect Dark

Just to inform you, the reason Perfect dark was deleated was the fact that the page wasn't very good and the consensus on the forum was to remove the page until such time as someone could create a proper page for the game. Although the priority on Perfect dark is very low due to members having much more popular pages to work on. Rockwolf66 07:40, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

Einhander

I would err on the side of caution. I would probably NOT delete the page if there is ONE verified real gun on it. We can't seem like hypocrites. There are movie pages on IMFDB which have only ONE gun on them, but they're still there. As long as the page look decent I wouldn't worry about that particular one.
