Cleaning out our closet, my father found a rifle we'd recovered from my grandfather's house a few years earlier. Looking at the markings on the rifle ("Fabrique Nationale d'armes de Guerre|Herstal Belgique"...the royal crest; marking "1951") and the style of bolt, etc.; it was clear that the rifle was a FN copy of the Gewehr 98 action, the Belgian military Modele 1950. I was wondering if anyone knows very much about this particular rifle, since it's proven very difficult to find any information on. --Dirty Harold 15:31, 29 July 2012 (CDT)
