Adding pics to the Payday 2 page

If you can, try to centralize articles about guns, so to speak. You added a pic to the AMIR article, which as you probably know, i just a modified version of the AKMSU. The same split was between the MP5's until i changed it.

What im trying to say is that, don't spread stuff out. It's not a demand but it helps to have things centered to one article.--AnActualAK47 (talk) 16:51, 4 December 2015 (EST)

True, although the AIMR was put there before by someone else. If you don't mind, I'll leave the formatting up to you or someone else :P but yeah the page has been cluttered up quite a bit. AgentGumby (talk) 16:59, 4 December 2015 (EST)
imfdb seems to shit itself when you reformat, but i'll keep doing it--AnActualAK47 (talk) 18:19, 4 December 2015 (EST)

About yer pics on the BF4 page

They're lovely screens alright, no HUD makes em' real slick, i would advise however to get rid of your clan tag thingu, makes things "cleaner"--AnActualAK47 (talk) 15:57, 7 August 2016 (EDT)

Edit: Do you mark the screenshots you replace with the "nuke" tag? As we have no need to keep them, we might as well get rid of them instead of filling up the site with unused screens.--AnActualAK47 (talk) 15:59, 7 August 2016 (EDT)
I kinda like to keep the emblem as a watermark thing; I haven't marked anything to nuke either, I'll keep that in mind though.(I only replaced like two or three though, most of what I added was new content)--AgentGumby (talk) 18:31, 7 August 2016 (EDT)
Nuke every unused screenshot and let god sort em' out.--AnActualAK47 (talk) 16:42, 8 August 2016 (EDT)

RE:

"Aspect ration"... praise Gumby The Grammar Nazi!!! All jokes aside, it would take a lot of time to replace all the old screenshots of the page, but yeah if you don't mind that feel free to work on it. --Ultimate94ninja (talk) 19:37, 8 December 2017 (EST)

:P

The Modern Warfare Store does not approve of these heathen Battlefield things. Evil Tim (talk) 11:31, 11 January 2018 (EST)

Hah. Expect more inane comments whenever that happens to me.--AgentGumby (talk) 14:11, 11 January 2018 (EST)

Drilling

The reason I removed it is actually the opposite of what you said: the fact that much worse things happened wouldn't mean issuing expanding bullets to be fired at infantry as a matter of policy would be seen as a minor violation of the Hague Convention. But the actual point is that this was a weapon which was never supposed to be used in combat, and the choice of a round you couldn't legally fire at the enemy even if you wanted to is reflective of that. Hopefully the rewrite gets that across a bit better. Evil Tim (talk) 23:41, 7 May 2018 (EDT)

RE: Volkssturmgewehr

I'm not necessarily saying that it's incorrect per se; it's just a rather odd and inefficient way of going about charging the weapon. The charging handle is connected to the gas-trapping upper assembly, which is in turn connected directly to the bolt, so there's no particular reason not to pull the charging handle. It's a bit like when a game's empty reload animation for an AR-15-pattern rifle involves the use of the charging handle instead of the bolt release; it's not wrong, but why would you go out of your way to preform this action in an awkward, inefficient manner when there's a far better, easier way to do it? I hope that this clears things up. Pyr0m4n14c (talk) 17:15, 11 June 2018 (EDT) P.S.: Maybe I'm just bad at searching, but man, finding a video that actually shows off the empty reload animation of the "Goat II" was a pain.

Yeah, I could see that happening. Pyr0m4n14c (talk) 19:54, 11 June 2018 (EDT)

RE: Rising Storm 2

Got it. Feel free to update them if you get the chance, otherwise I'll try to grab some replacements next time I'm in game. I've been finding it tough to get into a server running ARVN maps though. --Riverstyx (talk) 19:26, 18 June 2018 (EDT)

Topic: Insurgency Sandstorm

About this edit - do you have some official info what the pistol portrayed in-game is actually L105A1 or its in-game model is distinctly differs itself from the updated L106A1 and that's why you think it's 105 edition? I can't find detailed breakdowns on how to tell two 105 from 106, but it feels strange for the developer to make a error since two designations actually exist. I assume you know that L106A1 is a designation for the improved version with corrosion resistant finish. Or maybe you didn't know that and that's why I ask this question in the first place. Re:LA-K12

I actually knew about the shotgun, but didn't choose to include it because it's not on IMFDB yet. Anyways, thanks! --Wuzh (talk) 22:56, 21 August 2018 (EDT)

BFV Grenade

How did you make it so that the player holds the grenade like in Bf4?

RE: M60E6

Ah, if that's the case, fair enough. I'll upload a bigger version of your image for now, though I'll see later if I can find a better one since the lower part of the stock isn't fully visible. --Ultimate94ninja (talk) 14:41, 17 May 2019 (EDT)

Re: Image Aspect Ratio

It's less of a direct performance issue and more of a basic one, my monitor is 4:3 and my screenshots are taken directly from that. I could theoretically stretch it to 16:9 but it'll look weird and warped. --PaperCake 19:49, 22 June 2019 (EST)

RE: Warface M4 CQB

I'm on the fence here. Having made side-by-side comparisons with images like this one, the barrel length does seem to be very slightly closer to the ASG, but the handguard, while having similar features to it, is noticeably different, and more importantly, the magwell is more diagonal like the K23B (and unlike the ASG). --Ultimate94ninja (talk) 09:05, 19 October 2019 (EDT)

AK in Modern Warfare (2019)

I see that you added a couple of images showing the AK-47's milled receiver paired with an AK-74's barrel assembly. For future images, the AK in 7.62mm and 5.45mm can be found with both this barrel assembly and the stamped receiver combined together, as seen in the videos that I linked in MW's talk page. If you manage to find them in this configuration, that will be great.

Now in response to your question in the recent edit summary, it can't be an AK-103; it's just an earlier AK-47/AKM (depending on the model found) fitted with a dovetail side plate for mounting optics. The real AK-103 has a hardware for a folding stock on the left side of the receiver (a button at the back, and a catch in front the magwell), as well as a stamped receiver combined with a reinforced smooth cover, which can't be achieved on the in-game weapon.

Another thing (just in case you find it; no need to force yourself on this :P) - are there any 5.45mm AKs in the campaign fitted with the AK-74's peculiar stock with a cutout in it? If it isn't the case, I've been thinking that it would be a good idea to have images of the gun fitted with a side-folding stock, and then change the AK-74's section name to AKS-74, considering that the AKS-74's appearance can be achieved more accurately than the AK-74. --Ultimate94ninja (talk) 17:28, 10 November 2019 (EST)
