Confederate and Union soldiers, as well as various samurais are armed with the Enfield Pattern 1853s.
Yamamoto Kakuma (Hidetoshi Nishijima) aims the rifle. Numerous Tanegashimas is seen at the background. (Ep.03).

An anachronistic (for American Civil War) Winchester Model 1873 is briefly seen in the hands of Confederate soldier during the battle of Gettysburg.
