Underworld (2003)

Underworld is the 2003 action horror film directed by Len Wiseman and starring Kate Beckinsale as Selene, a vampire who is known as a "Death Dealer", an assassin tasked with eliminating the Lycans, those who are also known as werewolves. The film would launch a series of films, which includes 2006's Underworld: Evolution, 2009's Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, 2012's Underworld: Awakening and 2016's Underworld: Blood Wars.

The following weapons were used in the film Underworld (2003):

SPOILERS.jpg WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!

Pistols

Beretta 92FS (Modified)

The signature weapons of Selene (Kate Beckinsale) are two Beretta 92FS handguns modified to fire in full auto with barrel weights attached, possibly standing in for compensators.

Visible are three distinct silver weld marks (one on the frame above the trigger and two near the end of the barrel on the bottom of the pistol. These are the weld marks where a hole was drilled completely through the gun and a steel bar was welded into place, deactivating (i.e. permanently ruining) these formerly live firearms so that they could be sold in the U.K.
Selene fires her pair of full auto Beretta 92FS pistols at Lycans in the train station.

Selene reloads her Berettas by smacking the magazines together into the wells, although it's questionable how she grabbed the spare magazines with a gun in each hand.

Selene fires her Berettas at attacking Lycans.
When she realizes the Lycans cannot be stopped, she turns her Berettas to the floor. Keep in mind she hasn't reloaded after firing probably more than the weapons' capacities.
Regardless, she fires even more rounds than the weapons can hold and cuts a hole in the floor of which she can escape through.
Selene points one of her Berettas at Michael (Scott Speedman).
Erika (Sophia Myles) gives Selene her bag containing her Berettas and several magazines loaded with silver bullets.
Selene drops to one knee and kills several Lycans with one long burst from her Beretta.

Walther P99 (Two Tone Modified)

In addition to her Beretta 92FS handguns mentioned above, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) also uses a pair of two-tone Walther P99s fitted with Laser Devices BA-5 laser sights at the bottom of the barrels. The guns have been modified to lessen the weight required on the trigger to fire, allowing Kate Beckinsale's character to fire them almost as if they were fully automatic, which the sound editors for the film must have decided they were, since the weapons report like submachine guns - You can see Selene pulling the trigger for every shot, but you hear fully automatic fire. (Most notably in the subway shootout, when Selene fires on the fleeing Werewolf in the train.)

Walther P99

Standard black Walther P99s are also seen used by both vampires and Lycans in the film.

IMI Desert Eagle Mark VII

Many Lycans (werewolves) in the film use nickel plated Desert Eagle Mark VIIs chambered in .44 Magnum as their handguns. They are loaded with hollow bullets filled with a special irradiated fluid that emits ultraviolet light: "Sunlight used as a weapon." Selene takes a Desert Eagle loaded with the special bullets off a Lycan warrior, Trix (Todd Schneider) in the beginning of the film. Lucian (Michael Sheen) also has one at the end of the film.

Heckler & Koch USP Match

A 9mm Heckler & Koch USP Match equipped with a Jet Funnel extended magazine well makes its first appearance when it is given to Selene (Kate Beckinsale) by Kahn (Robbie Gee) to test out. When she fires it, silver liquid comes out of the target, and we learn that the gun is loaded with Silver Nitrate bullets which were copied from the Lycan's ultraviolet ammunition, and are very lethal to the werewolves as it allows silver to flow into their blood stream. Towards the end of the film, Kraven (Shane Brolly) also uses a USP Match loaded with the same ammunition. It should be noted that silver nitrate is actually clear in liquid form, but the liquid used resembles mercury.

Heckler & Koch USP Compact

While at the mansion's shooting range, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) can be seen firing a Heckler & Koch USP Compact along with other weapons. A vampire during the subway shootout is also seen using one.

When the reverse shot shows her firing her USP Compact, she is actually holding a USP Match, which she is moments later handed and introduced to!

Heckler & Koch USP-9

A Heckler & Koch USP-9 is given to Michael Corvin (Scott Speedman) by Selene (Kate Beckinsale) when he is chained to a chair at the safehouse, and attempts to free himself by shooting the chain with the gun but fails.

Michael tries to shoot the chains that bind him, but the USP fails to break them - Possibly because he wasn't even aiming at the chain.

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5K (with and without PDW folding stock)

Most of the vampire death dealers in the film use Heckler & Koch MP5K submachine guns both with and without PDW folding stock. Since they lack the extended barrels, they are not actual MP5K-PDWs.

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

Both the Vampires and Lycans can be seen using Heckler & Koch MP5A3s on several occasions. The Lycan's MP5s are mostly seen with tactical flashlights on the foregrip.

Steyr TMP

In the firefight at the beginning of the film, Raze (Kevin Grevioux) uses two Steyr TMPs to battle the vampires in the subway. Several are also seen in the vampire armory.

Raze unloads both of his Steyr TMPs, doing a great job of keeping his eyes open despite the large muzzle flashes, the result of using full-flash blanks.
Since his left hand is firing towards the ground, he's quite likely right hand dominant.

Unknown SMG

During the scene when Selene (Kate Beckinsale) is discussing the war between Lycans and Vampires, it cuts to a gun rack, where an unknown submachine gun is seen - It could be an unloaded Spectre M4, but this is uncertain.

Shotguns

Franchi SPAS-12

After the firefight in the subway, the Lycan leader Lucian (Michael Sheen) breaks up a fight between two werewolves by firing a Franchi SPAS-12 shotgun with a shortened barrel and magazine tube in the air and telling them that they are behaving like rabid dogs. A Lycan is also seen loading one up before the final battle.

Rifles / Carbines

Colt M4A1 Carbine

Towards the end of the film, Kahn (Robbie Gee) can be seen with an M4A1 Carbine, fitted with a scope, a laser pointer and a Surefire M500AB tactical flashlight in the foregrip. The lower receiver lacks the "fencing" around the magazine release, which means it's actually an M4 barreled upper receiver mounted onto an early Colt SP1 (original M16) 'slab side' lower receiver. Since so many SP1 lower receivers were converted to full auto fire (for movie use) in the last three decades, this is a common practice.

Kahn arms himself with a kitted out M4A1. Note lack of magazine fencing on lower receiver.
Kahn aims his M4A1 into the dark at the sound of a Lycan. You'd think he would turn the flashlight on for such a situation or at least would have heightened low-light vision being vampire.
Instead he empties his weapon into the dark, a poor decision on his part. Note: In the upper image, he fires his M4A1 right-handed. In this image he fires it left-handed.

Heckler & Koch G36KV

Many of the Lycans use Heckler & Koch G36KVs in the film, may of which have flashlights taped on top of the forends.

AKM

During the scene where Selene (Kate Beckinsale) is discussing the war between the vampires and the Lycans, and when the the Lycans are loading up, several AKMs can be seen being handed out. They are also seen layered up in a gun rack. It is possible some of these may be milled receiver Norinco Type 56s.

Colt AR-15A2 Sporter II

During the scene when Selene (Kate Beckinsale) is discussing the war between Lycans and vampires, it cuts to a gun rack, where a Colt AR-15A2 Sporter II is seen with many other weapons. One is also seen in the vampire armory.
