Revision as of 08:50, 31 August 2011

The following weapons were used in the third season of the television series Ultimate Force:

Ultimate Force - Season 3

Handguns

SIG-Sauer P226

The SIG-Sauer P226 is the preferred sidearm of Red Troop and is used throughout the series. It is frequently seen holstered whenever the team are wearing their counter terrorist gear, but is normally only used for undercover work.

SIG-Sauer P226 - 9x19mm
Trooper Becca Gallagher (Heather Peace) uses a P226 in "Deadlier than the Male" (Episode 3.1), which was giver to her by Henno (Ross Kemp).

Beretta 92FS

A number of Beretta 92FS pistols are used by the Italian security guards at the embasy in "The Class of 1980" (Episode 3.3).

Beretta 92FS - 9x19mm
A security guard draws his Beretta to try and shoot the terrorists as they open fire.
The terrorist who normally uses a Beretta 92 (San Shella) can be seen with a 92FS on his belt during a struggle, as seen by its slide mounted safety. It is likely that this is a rubber prop gun.

Beretta 92

In "Class of 1980" (Episode 3.3) one of the terrorists (San Shella), uses what appears to be an original Beretta 92 for most of the episode. Oddly this particular pistol is fitted with a slide which is thinner at the front than the back and different grip plates, features which do not appear on the majority of Beretta 92s.

Beretta 92, the first Beretta model produced, noted by rounded trigger guard, butt located magazine release, and frame mounted safety (pre-decocking safety) - 9x19mm.
The terrorist aiming his Beretta 92, showing the lack of slide mounted safety.
The terrorist clasps the Beretta to his chest while explaining Jihad to the hostages.
The same Beretta can be seen at the end of the episode being used by the terrorist guarding the MI5 agent.

"Pre-B" CZ 75

Several of the Chechens in ([[Weapon of choice" carry "Pre-B" CZ 75s.

The old man in armed crowd during the village stand-off can be seen with a CZ-75.

Makarov PM

One of the Chechens in the armed crows uses a Makarov PM in "Weapon of Choice" (Episode 3.4).

Smith & Wesson Model 686

A compensated Smith & Wesson Model 686 is used by the head of the terrorists , Al Djouf (Ace Bhatti), in "Class of 1980" (Episode 3.3).

A hostage is executed with a GLock 19.
Alan uses his Glock 19 to force Becca (Heather Peace) to strip to show she is not wearing a bug.

Umarex GPDA

Several of the terrorists in "Deadlier than the Male" (Episode 3.1) carry Umarex GPDA blank firing pistols that stand in for Browning BDAs. They can be recognised as GPDAs by their slide markings, which are visible in some shots, and the shape of the safety catch.

Umarex GPDA-9 - 9mm PKA blanks. This particular gun has a rounded hammer, whereas the one in show has a spurred hammer.
Devi (Tuyet Le) conceals a GPDA in the life jacket pouch under a seat.
The pistol as it falls out, leading to the terrorists early discovery and change of plans.
Teddy (Jonathan Chan-Pensley) using a GPDA to coerce a flight attendant. Visible in this shot are the slide markings identifying this as a GPDA, although the last character, either and 8 or 9, is not clearly visible so the calibre of the blanks it uses cannot by clearly established. The slightly different shape of the GPDA safety is also visible in this shot.

CZ 75 Automatic

In "Never Go Back" (Episode 3.2) several characters use a CZ 75 Automatic shown with a ported barrel.

Bruni Automatic 8mm CAL (M1911 Blank firing gun)

In Episode 3.2, "Never Go Back", the leader of the Zimbabwean "Fire Brigade" carries a Bruni Automatic 8mm CAL pistol (which is a theatrical blank firing only replica gun). The character may carry a real M1911 in other shots, but in this particular shot, he is aiming it at a child actor, so the blocked barreled replica M1911 is used.

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

The standard-issue weapons for the SAS unit Red Troop in the TV show are Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns, which are always seen with Surefire fore ends and tactical flashlights as well as the SEF-style lower receiver. These weapons are typically used in Red Troop's domestic hostage rescue missions. The other SAS unit, Blue Troop, also use identical weapons, as do many Metropolitan Police SO19 (now CO19) officers throughout the show.

AK-74 (Mocked up)

A number of Mocked up AK-74s can be seen being used by the African militiamen in "Never Go Back" (Episode 3.2) and by Russian troops in "Weapon of Choice" (Episode 3.4). They appear to be chambered in 7.62x39mm rather than 5.45x39mm, so it is likely that these weapons are AKMs fitted with AK-74 furniture and a muzzle brake.
