The following weapons were used in the first season of the television series Ultimate Force:

Ultimate Force - Season 1

Handguns

SIG-Sauer P226

The SIG-Sauer P226 is the preferred sidearm of Red Troop and is used throughout the series. It is frequently seen holstered whenever the team are wearing their counter terrorist gear, but is normally only used for undercover work.

SIG-Sauer P226 - 9x19mm
Cpl. Jamie Dow (Jamie Draven) and Cpl. Alex Leonard (Sendhil Ramamurthy) are issued their P226s along with four magazines each in "The Killing House" (Episode 1.1).
Capt. Caroline Walshe (Alex Reid) carries a P226, and can be seen using it in "Just a Target" (Episode 1.2).
SSgt. Henry 'Henno' Garvie (Ross Kemp) prominently uses a P226 whilst attempting to stop an IRA kidnapping in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5).
Fintan Maguire (David Wilmot) fires a pair of P226s in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5). This is a continuity error, as he was previously armed with his own Glock 17, and a single P226 which he had taken from Henno.

Beretta 92FS

A Beretta 92FS is used by Brian Duggan (Tom Georgeson) in "The Killing House" (Episode 1.1) and by a Moussa (Serge Soric) "Breakout" (Episode 1.4).

Beretta 92FS - 9x19mm
Brian Duggen (under the alias "Boss") holds the back manage hostage with his Beretta 92FS in "The Killing house".
"Boss" executes someone with his Beretta 92FS.
Moussa threatens Caroline (Alex Reid) with his Beretta 92FS in "Breakout".
Another view of Moussa's Beretta. Note the slide mounted safety and finger step identifying this as the FS model.

Colt Combat Commander

A Colt Combat Commander is used by one of the bank robbers in "The Killing House" (Episode 1.1). It is fitted with wooden grips, and has either a parkerised, or very well worn blued finish.

Colt Combat Commander - .45 ACP
Brian Duggan (Tom Georgeson) brandishes the Commander before issuing the pistol to another of the bank robbers.
The pistol is slid across the table.
"Weasel" (Russell Tovey) strokes his Commander.
Henno (Ross Kemp) about to pick up the Commander from the body of one of the robbers.

Smith & Wesson Model 10 HB

"Badger" (Eddie Marsan) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 10 HB which was given to him by Brian Duggan (Tom Georgeson) in "The Killing House" (Episode 1.1).

Smith & Wesson Model 10 HB (heavy barrel) - .38 Special
Badger sitting on his Model 10 HB whilst waiting in the van.
The Model 10 HB lays on the floor after Badger drops it. Note the untapered barrel identifying this as the HB version.
Badger is forced to take a police officer hostage after he sees his pistol.

Browning HP

The Browning Hi-Power is occasionally used by members of Red troop, as opposed to the much more prevalent SIG-Sauer pistols.

Browning Hi-Power - 9x19mm
Jem (Elliot Cowan) can be breifly seen using a Browning at the end of "Just a Target" (Episode 1.2).
Cpl. Mick Sharp (Laurence Fox) loads his Browning during his one deployment with Red Troop in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6).

Beretta 92

In "Just A Target" (Episode 1.2) one of the anti-globalization terrorists, Simon (Jamie Sives), uses what appears to be an original Beretta 92, as referenced by the fact that it has a rounded trigger guard and a frame-mounted safety on one side only. Oddly this particular pistol is fitted with a slide which is thinner at the front than the back and different grip plates, features which do not appear on the majority of Beretta 92s. It is possible that this is a very early Taurus PT92, as the left side of the pistol grip is never clearly shown to show the butt mounted magazine release of the Beretta 92, however this is unlikely, as in later episodes a very similar pistol is used which displays the correct magazine release position.

Beretta 92 - 9x19mm
Simon sitting with his Beretta 92. Just visible in this shot is the indent in the bottom of the slide for the frame mounted safety.
Note the lack of the slide mounted safety. Also visible in this shot is the step on the slide level with the front of the trigger guard.

"Pre-B" CZ 75

An anti-globalization terrorist, Rod (Barney Craig), in "Just A Target" (Episode 1.2) is seen with a "Pre-B" CZ 75.

"Pre-B" CZ 75 - 9x19mm
Rob relaxes with his CZ-75. Note the rounded trigger guard identifying this as the pre-B model
Rob threatens Lorraine (Madeleine Worrall) with his CZ-75.
A Pre-B CZ-75 can also be briefly seen in "Breakout" (Episode 1.4) in the hands of the security guard at the biological weapons research centre.

Unknown Pistol 1

Flossie (Inday Ba) carries an unknown pistol with a stainless steel finish in "Just A Target" (Episode 1.2).

FLossie drawn her pistol whilst forcing Jamie to zero the AW50F.
Flossie threatens Lorraine with the pistol.
Flossie observes their target through the shades.

Walther PPK

Walther PPKs are used on multiple occasions by Red Troop as backup weapons or for covert missions.

Walther PPK - 9mm Kurz aka 9x17mm (.380 ACP)
Henno (Ross Kemp) carries a suppressed PPK whilst backing up Caroline in "Breakout" (Episode 1.4).
Henno surrenders his PPK
Pete (Tony Curran) hands Jem (Elliot Cowan) a PPK to use as a backup weapon in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5).
Caroline (Alex Reid) hides a PPK in her crotch in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6).
Jamie (Jamie Draven) later uses the same PPK whilst capturing Glasnovic (Andreas Wisniewski).

Makarov PM

Makarov PMs with black grips are seen on multiple occasions being used by terrorists.

Makarov PM - 9x18mm Makarov
Ruslan (Dragan Micanovic) uses his Makarov to coerce Sergei (Rad Lazar) in "Breakout" (Episode 1.4).
Ruslan uses a combination of bioengineered Anthrax and a Makarov whilst letting Caroline into the building.
Ruslan pointing his Makarov at Henno.
A side view of Ruslans Makarov as he shoots out security cameras.
Haradic (Velibor Topic) draws a Makarov before being disarmed by Caroline (Alex Reid) in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6).

CZ 75B

A CZ 75B is used by one of the IRA terrorists (Sean Gilder) in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5).

CZ 75B 9x19mm
One of the terrorists forces Jamie to look at a dead body using his CZ 75B. This can be recognised as a Type B by the squared off and grooved trigger guard.

Glock 17

Glock 17 pistols are used by Royal Ulster Constabulary officers as well as IRA terrorists disguised as RUC officers in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5).

Glock 17 9mm
Fintan Maguire (David Wilmot) firing a Glock 17 at Henno and Caroline. This weapon is presumably stolen from the RUC, along with the vehicles.
Another of the IRA terrorists can be seen with a glock as he abducts Jamie. In this shot, the weapon appears to be a rubber prop gun, which makes sense as it is being used to hit an actor.
Caroline (Alex Reid) also carries a Glock 17 as her side-arm in the episode.
Jack Cullen (Dermot Crowley) later holds Caroline hostage with her own Glock.

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

The standard-issue weapons for the SAS unit Red Troop in the TV show are Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns, which are always seen with Surefire fore ends and tactical flashlights as well as the SEF-style lower receiver. These weapons are typically used in Red Troop's domestic hostage rescue missions. The other SAS unit, Blue Troop, also use identical weapons, as do many Metropolitan Police SO19 (now CO19) officers throughout the show.

Heckler & Koch MP5A3 9mm
Jamie (Jamie Draven) and Alex (Sendhil Ramamurthy) are issued their H&K MP5A3s along with 6 magazines apiece when they first join Red troop in "The Killing House" (Episode 1.1). This is the only time when Red troop MP5s are shown with their original slimline forearms, as opposed to the Surefire fore ends which can be seen separately to the right of the weapon.
An SO19 officer covers the bank with his MP5 in "The Killing House" (Episode 1.1). Unlike the SAS in the show who allways use the iron sights on their MP5s, this particular police weapon is fitted with what appears to be a low powered scope.
Jamie holds fire whilst Alex negligently fires his MP5 in "Breakout" (Episode 1.4). Note the red tape on the bottom of the magazines. It appears that in the show the tape is used to identify the unit, with Blue Troop having blue tape on their magazines,

Heckler & Koch MP5A2

The solid stocked version of the MP5, the MP5A2, is much rarer than its collapsible stocked brother and is only seen in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5) being carried by the RUC.

Heckler & Koch MP5A2 - 9x19mm with early "slimline" handguard
A pair of RUC officers with MP5A2s at the abduction site. The MP5 on the left is fitted with a wide tropical forearm, whilst the one on the right is fitted with an original slimline forearm.
Some of the officers guarding the vehicle checkpoint can also be seen with MP5A2s

Heckler & Koch MP5KA1

Caroline (Alex Reid) uses a Heckler & Koch MP5KA1 in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5). It can be recognised as the KA1 version by its lack of front sight post and diopter rear sight. Instead this version is fitted with low profile pistol type sights to prevent snagging when being drawn from confined spaces or beneath clothes. In real life this version of the MP5K has been used by the British SAS. MP5Ks were also commonly used by members of "The Det" (14 Intelligence Company) as a counter ambush weapon in their vehicles, so as a formere member Caroline would be very familiar with their use.

Heckler & Koch MP5KA1 - 9x19mm
Caroline draws her MP5KA1 from beneath her seat, where it was stored with the selector set to full auto.
Caroline aims her MP5KA1 at the IRA terrorists through the smashed windscreen of their car.
Caroline firing her MP5KA1 gangster style. However, in this case it is justified as she is blind firing from behind cover and this is the only position she could fire in.

Assault Rifles

L85A1

Regular British forces throughout the show are seen wielding L85A1 service rifles. They are never operationally carried by Red Troop, like their real life SAS counterparts, however they are used for ceremonial purposes. Since Ultimate Force was filmed after 2000 the use of L85A1s is anachronistic, having been replaced by the L85A2 variant by Heckler & Koch.

L85A1 5.56x45mm with SUSAT scope
The Ministry of Defence Police who guard the army base at Hereford carry L85A1s. This was the main weapon used by the MOD police until 2005, when it was phased out in favour of the Heckler & Koch MP7.
An honour guard of SAS trooper fire their L85A1s in salute during a funeral in "Just a Target" (Episode 1.2).

Norinco Type 56-1

Norinco Type 56-1s are a common terrorist weapon on the show.

Norinco Type 56-1 7.62x39mm
Pete (Tony Curran) and Jamie (Jamie Draven) can both be seen with Norincos in "Natural Selection" (Episode 1.3).
A number of the terrorists in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1,6) carry Norincos, as recognised by the hooded front sight.

AK-47

One of the IRA members in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5) carries what appears to be an original AK-47. It is possible that this weapon in deactivated, or a non firing replica, as for shooting scenes it changes to a Zastava M70B1.

Type III AK-47 - 7.62x39mm
One of the terrorists takes the AK-47 from the body of another. Note the milled receiver.
Sean Weir (Damian O'Hare) later carries the AK-47.
Sean cradles the AK-47 as he guards Jamie.

AKMS

AKMS's are another weapon that is occasionally used by terrorists.

AKMS - 7.62x39mm
One of the IRA terrorists in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5) uses what appears to be an AKMS, although it is never clearly shown.
Pete (Tony Curran) assembles his AKMS during a range practice session in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6).
Pete aiming his AKMS. This particular weapon is a somewhat Franken-gun, having the stamped receiver, front sight and muzzle brake from an AKMS, but the furniture and perforated gas tube from an AKS-47

Zastava M70B1

The majority of the fixed stock Kalashnikov variants in the show are Zastava M70B1s.

Zastava M70B1 - 7.62x39mm
During firing scenes, Sean Weir's (Damian O'Hare) AK-47 changes to a Zastava in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5).
Multiple Zastava M70B1s appear in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6) being used by the Serbians.
Henno (Ross Kemp) prominently uses a Zastava whilst extolling the virtues of the AK-47 to a group of soldiers he is training. This can be identified as a Zastava rather than another AK variant by it folding grenade sight and the three rather than two ports in the handguard.

Heckler & Koch HK33A3

Heckler & Koch HK33A3s,are used by several members of Red Troop in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5), where they are used as sniper rifles. At the end of the episode Pete (Tony Curran) again uses an HK33, but without the telescopic sight, whilst covering the outside of the building during the assault on the IRA safe-house.

Jem (Elliot Cowan) moves into position with his HK33.

Heckler & Koch HK53

In Episode 1.5, "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" several members of Red Troop can briefly be seen with HK53s when they rescue Jamie at the end of the episode. In real life these weapons were frequently used by both the SAS and "The Det" (14 Intelligence Company) in Northern Ireland due to their combination of concealability and firepower.

Colt Model 733

Cpl. Jamie Dow (Jamie Draven) can briefly be seen using a Colt Model 733 in Episode 1.6, "Something to Do with Justice" whilst covering the team's extraction towards the end of the episode. This particular M733 is built using an A2 style upper.

Accuracy International AW50F

In Episode 1.2, "Just a Target", Jamie (Jamie Draven) goes undercover and joins a militant anti-globalization group which wants him to assassinate an international banker. The terrorists give him a huge .50 BMG AW50F long-range rifle, which none of them are able to fire accurately, and ask him to use it for the assassination. Jamie winds up using the gun to kill one of the terrorists at point-blank range, firing from the hip in a small room (in real life, doing this would cause anyone to go deaf).

Heavy Weapons

Cobray CM203

Red Troop's M16s and CAR-15s are often fitted with what appear to be M203 grenade launchers. However, a close inspection of the receivers reveals that they are actually the look-a-like Cobray CM203 37mm launchers which are often used to substitute for the M203 in many films and TV shows.
