The following weapons were used in the first season of the television series Ultimate Force:
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P226
The SIG-Sauer P226 is the preferred sidearm of Red Troop and is used throughout the series. It is frequently seen holstered whenever the team are wearing their counter terrorist gear, but is normally only used for undercover work.
Cpl. Jamie Dow (Jamie Draven) and Cpl. Alex Leonard (Sendhil Ramamurthy) are issued their P226s along with four magazines each in "The Killing House" (Episode 1.1).
Capt. Caroline Walshe (Alex Reid) carries a P226, and can be seen using it in "Just a Target" (Episode 1.2).
Sgt. Pete Twamley (Tony Curran) holds his P226 while breaching a room in "Just a Target" (Episode 1.2).
SSgt. Henry 'Henno' Garvie (Ross Kemp) prominently uses a P226 whilst attempting to stop an IRA kidnapping in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5).
Henno fires his SIG-Sauer P226 at the IRA kidnappers in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5).
Fintan Maguire (David Wilmot) fires a pair of P226s in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5). This is a continuity error, as he was previously armed with his own Glock 17, and a single P226 which he had taken from Henno.
Beretta 92
In "Just A Target" (Episode 1.2) one of the anti-globalization terrorists, Simon (Jamie Sives), uses an original Beretta 92, as referenced by the fact that it has a rounded trigger guard and a frame-mounted safety on one side only. This particular gun features plain grip panels, and a stepped slide (it narrows in thickness just ahead of the chamber) indicating that it is one of the first 1000 or so pistols made before the design was changed to the familiar profile.
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is used by Brian Duggan (Tom Georgeson) in "The Killing House" (Episode 1.1) and by a Moussa (Serge Soric) "Breakout" (Episode 1.4).

Browning HP
The Browning Hi-Power is occasionally used by members of Red troop, as opposed to the much more prevalent SIG-Sauer pistols.
Jem (Elliot Cowan) can be briefly seen using a Browning at the end of "Just a Target" (Episode 1.2).
Cpl. Mick Sharp (Laurence Fox) loads his Browning during his one deployment with Red Troop in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6).
Colt Combat Commander
A Colt Combat Commander is used by one of the bank robbers in "The Killing House" (Episode 1.1). It is fitted with wooden grips, and has either a parkerised, or very well worn blued finish.
Brian Duggan (Tom Georgeson) brandishes the Commander before issuing the pistol to another of the bank robbers.

CZ 75 "Pre-B"
An anti-globalization terrorist, Rod (Barney Craig), in "Just A Target" (Episode 1.2) is seen with a "Pre-B" CZ 75.

CZ 75B
A CZ 75B is used by one of the IRA terrorists (Sean Gilder) in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5).
Glock 17
Glock 17 pistols are used by Royal Ulster Constabulary officers as well as IRA terrorists disguised as RUC officers in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5).

Caroline (Alex Reid) also carries a Glock 17 as her side-arm in the episode.

Makarov PMs with black grips are seen on multiple occasions being used by terrorists.
Ruslan (Dragan Micanovic) uses his Makarov to coerce Sergei (Rad Lazar) in "Breakout" (Episode 1.4).
Haradic (Velibor Topic) draws a Makarov before being disarmed by Caroline (Alex Reid) in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6).
Smith & Wesson Model 10 HB
"Badger" (Eddie Marsan) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 10 HB which was given to him by Brian Duggan (Tom Georgeson) in "The Killing House" (Episode 1.1).
Unknown Pistol 1
Flossie (Inday Ba) carries an unknown pistol with a stainless steel finish in "Just A Target" (Episode 1.2).

Walther PPK
Walther PPKs are used on multiple occasions by Red Troop as backup weapons or for covert missions.
Henno (Ross Kemp) carries a suppressed PPK whilst backing up Caroline in "Breakout" (Episode 1.4).
Pete (Tony Curran) hands Jem (Elliot Cowan) a PPK to use as a backup weapon in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5).
Caroline (Alex Reid) hides a PPK in her crotch in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6).
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The standard-issue weapons for the SAS unit Red Troop in the TV show are Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns, which are always seen with Surefire fore ends and tactical flashlights as well as the SEF-style lower receiver. These weapons are typically used in Red Troop's domestic hostage rescue missions. The other SAS unit, Blue Troop, also use identical weapons, as do many Metropolitan Police SO19 (now CO19) officers throughout the show.
Jamie (Jamie Draven) and Alex (Sendhil Ramamurthy) are issued their H&K MP5A3s along with 6 magazines apiece when they first join Red troop in "The Killing House" (Episode 1.1). This is the only time when Red troop MP5s are shown with their original slimline forearms, as opposed to the Surefire fore ends which can be seen separately to the right of the weapon.
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
The solid stocked version of the MP5, the Heckler & Koch MP5A2, is much rarer than its collapsible stocked brother and is only seen in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5) being carried by the RUC.
Heckler & Koch MP5KA1
Caroline (Alex Reid) uses a Heckler & Koch MP5KA1 in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5). It can be recognised as the KA1 version by its lack of front sight post and diopter rear sight. Instead this version is fitted with low profile pistol type sights to prevent snagging when being drawn from confined spaces or beneath clothes. In real life this version of the MP5K has been used by the British SAS. MP5Ks were also commonly used by members of "The Det" (14 Intelligence Company) as a counter ambush weapon in their vehicles, so as a former member of that unit Caroline would be very familiar with their use.
Assault Rifles / Carbines
AK-47
One of the IRA members in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5) carries what appears to be an original AK-47. It is possible that this weapon in deactivated, or a non firing replica, as for shooting scenes it changes to a Zastava M70B1.
Sean Weir (Damian O'Hare) later carries the AK-47.
AKMS
AKMSs are another weapon that is occasionally used by terrorists.
Pete (Tony Curran) assembles his AKMS during a range practice session in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6).
Colt AR-15 Sporter-1
Colt AR-15 Sporter 1s are seen frequently on the show in the hands of Red troop as a stand in for M16s. They can be recognised as Sporter-1s by their screw type pivot rather than push pin pivot, which is visible in some shots.
Johnny Bell (Chris Ryan) uses an SP1 fitted with a Cobray CM203 in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6). Here he is displaying rather poor trigger discipline, particularly as he is showing how his hand is shaking uncontrollably from the adrenaline.
Colt AR-15 Sporter-II Carbine
Lt. Dotsy Doheny (Jamie Bamber) used a Colt AR-15 Sporter-II Carbine (Model R6420) with a solid stock and three prong flash hider in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6).
Colt CAR-15
CAR-15s are a common weapon used by Red troop, and can be seen used by multiple characters in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6). These CAR-15s are most likely either mock-ups or commercial copies, as the flash hiders are too long for E1 rifles, but lack the grenade ring found on later E2 rifles.
Johnny Bell (Chris Ryan) can be seen prepping a CAR-15 whilst the team are planning the mission.
Jem (Elliot Cowan) can be seen using a CAR-15 at the end of the episode.
Colt M16A1 (with M16A2 hand guards)
Red troop make use of M16A1s fitted with A2 type handguards on several occasions for oversees missions where more range is required.
Alex (Sendhil Ramamurthy) loads his M16A1 prior to the attack in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6). It can be recognised as an A1 rather than an A2 by its simpler rear sights and lack of a brass deflector.
Alex awaits the order to move in with his M16A1 at the ready, backed up by Johnny Bell (Chris Ryan) with his SP1 (just visible in this shot is the screw type pivot of the Sporter model).
Colt M16A2
Genuine M16A2s are also used by Red Troop, alongside the mock A2s based on M16A1s listed above

Colt Model 733
Jamie (Jamie Draven) can briefly be seen using a Colt Model 733 in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6) whilst covering the team's extraction towards the end of the episode. This particular M733 is built using an A2 style upper.
Heckler & Koch HK33A3
Heckler & Koch HK33A3s,are used by several members of Red Troop in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5), where they are used as sniper rifles. At the end of the episode Pete (Tony Curran) again uses an HK33, but without the telescopic sight, whilst covering the outside of the building during the assault on the IRA safe-house.

Heckler & Koch HK53
In "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5) several members of Red Troop can briefly be seen with HK53s when they rescue Jamie at the end of the episode. In real life these weapons were frequently used by both the SAS and "The Det" (14 Intelligence Company) in Northern Ireland due to their combination of concealability and firepower. These are possibly early versions of the HK53 or mock ups, as the weapons shown in the episode use slimline fore grips and SEF lower receivers, as well as different flash hiders to the regular HK53.
Johnny Bell (Chris Ryan) can be seen with an HK53 whilst guarding Bill Gracey. Just visible in this shot are the finger grooves indicating that this weapon uses a SEF lower receiver.

Jem, Alex (Sendhil Ramamurthy) and Ricky (Danny Sapani) all use HK53s whilst assaulting the IRA safe house.
IMI Romat
Henno (Ross Kemp) can be seen inspecting a IMI Romat in the militias armoury in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6). It appears to be fitted with a Belgian long flash hider.
L85A1
Regular British forces throughout the show are seen wielding L85A1 service rifles. They are never operationally carried by Red Troop, like their real life SAS counterparts, however they are used for ceremonial purposes. Since Ultimate Force was filmed after 2000 the use of L85A1s is anachronistic, having been replaced by the L85A2 variant by Heckler & Koch.
The Ministry of Defence Police who guard the army base at Hereford carry L85A1s. This was the main weapon used by the MOD police until 2005, when it was phased out in favour of the Heckler & Koch MP7.
Norinco Type 56-1
Norinco Type 56-1s are a common terrorist weapon on the show.
Pete (Tony Curran) and Jamie (Jamie Draven) can both be seen with Norincos in "Natural Selection" (Episode 1.3).
Valmet M62
A modernized Valmet M62 can be seen in the militia's armoury in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6), and is inspected by Pete (Tony Curran). This particular weapon is somewhat unusual, in that it does not have the standard iron sights of either an M62 or M76, as instead of the sights being located at the rear of the dust cover they are nearer the front and appear to be of a simpler design. The milled receiver and lack of external rivets confirms it to actually be an M62 instead of a Valmet M76.
Zastava M70B1
The majority of the fixed stock Kalashnikov variants in the show are Zastava M70B1a.
During firing scenes, Sean Weir's (Damian O'Hare) AK-47 changes to a Zastava in "The Killing of a One-Eyed Bookie" (Episode 1.5).
Henno (Ross Kemp) prominently uses a Zastava whilst extolling the virtues of the AK-47 to a group of soldiers he is training. This can be identified as a Zastava rather than another AK variant by it folding grenade sight and the three rather than two ports in the handguard.
Rifles
Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III*
A pair of Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III*s are mounted on the wall of the bar at Hereford.
Sniper Rifles
Accuracy International Arctic Warfare
Whenever Red Troop requires sniper support, the snipers are typically armed with Accuracy International Arctic Warfare rifles in 7.62x51mm NATO, with the majority of the main characters using one at one point or another. This rifle was used by the British army, under the designation of L118A1.

Accuracy International AW50F
In "Just a Target" (Episode 1.2) Jamie (Jamie Draven) uses an AW50F long-range rifle while operating undercover within a terrorist group.
Simon (Jamie Sives) loads a round into the AW50F. Throughout the episode the weapon is loaded with single rounds directly into the chamber, rather than using the magazine.
Unknown Heckler & Koch G3 Sniper Variant
A police SO19 sniper in "The Killing House" (Episode 1.1) can be seen using an unknown Heckler & Koch G3 based sniper rifle. Better shots of this rifle can be seen on the Season 3 page where it is again used by SO19 snipers, and on the Season 4 page where the same rifle is carried by a US special forces sniper. The rifle which it most resembles is a Heckler & Koch G3SG/1 , however it has several differences: the rifle has a conventional trigger pack (lacks the secondary setting trigger), a skeletonised extended butt plate, a larger cheek riser, no iron sights and what appears to be a thicker and longer barrel without a flash hider. Due to the rarity of G3SG/1s, it is more likely that this rifle is a regular G3A3 which has had a number of modifications and after-market parts added.
Machine Guns
FN Minimi
Red Troop is frequently seen using the FN Minimi for support during missions overseas.
Henno (Ross Kemp) checks an FN Minimi that was in the armoury of the Serbian militia in "Something to Do with Justice". Apparently this weapon was taken from the UN troops when they abandoned a base.
Maxim M1910/30
The Serbian rebels in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6) have a Maxim M1910/30 mounted behind sand bags for perimeter defence.
Shotguns

One of the bank robbers in "The Killing House" (Episode 1.1) uses what appears to be a Mossberg 500 Cruiser. It appears as if the last couple of inches of the barrel have been sawed off.
Sawed Off Side be Side Shotgun
Sawed off shotguns are seen numerous times throughout the series being used by terrorists.
One of the bank robbers, Pug (Robert Willox), in "The Killing House" (Episode 1.1) is armed with a sawed off shotgun, which here he is using the butt of to smash mobile phones.
Billy Critchley (Alex Palmer) prominently uses a sawed off shotgun in "Natural Selection" (Episode 1.3).

Cobray CM203
Red Troop's M16s and CAR-15s are often fitted with Cobray CM203 37mm flare launchers to stand in for 40mm M203 grenade launchers.
Johnny Bell (Chris Ryan) prepares his AR15 SP1 fitted with a Cobray in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6). From this angle it can be identified as a Cobray by the fully enclosed trigger guard with a squared off back, as opposed to the M203 trigger guard which connects onto the bottom of the rifle's magazine well.
M72 LAW
Jem (Elliot Cowan) uses an M72 LAW to destroy a guard house and create a distraction during the attack in "Something to Do with Justice" (Episode 1.6).
