Topper Returns was filmed in 1941 with Roland Young playing Cosmo Topper encounters a sarcastic ghost played by Joan Blondell who insists that our intrepid hero help her find her murderer. The plot unravels in Carrington Hall a fabulous haunted mansion replete with mysteries and a phantom passes through solid stone. Beset by falling objects, dark mysterious corridors and hidden traps. Topper must persevere to solve the dark crime.
