Tom Wilkinson (1948-2023) was a British actor who appeared in such films as The Patriot, Rush Hour, Batman Begins, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, and 2007's Michael Clayton, a role for which he received his second Academy Award nomination. In addition, Wilkinson received a Primetime Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for his role as Benjamin Franklin in the HBO miniseries John Adams. He passed away from undisclosed causes on December 30, 2023 at the age of 75.
