Time After Time

Time After Time is a 1979 fantasy film directed by Nicholas Meyer based on the novel by Karl Alexander. The film centers around a fictional version of famous author H.G. Wells (played by Malcolm McDowell) who constructs a working time machine and uses it to pursue Jack the Ripper (played by David Warner) from 1893 London to 1979 San Francisco.

Star Model BM
H.G. Wells (Malcolm McDowell) purchases a Star Model BM from a pawn shop in anticipation of a final showdown with Jack the Ripper. After Wells is arrested, Police Lt. Mitchell (Charles Cioffi) refers to the pistol as "Korean War ordinance".

An assortment of rifles and shotguns can be seen in one of the pawn shops that Wells visits.
