Thor: Ragnarok is the 2017 superhero film that is the third installment in the Thor standalone film trilogy. Chris Hemsworth returns as the God of Thunder, who is banished to a planet where he must fight an old friend in order to gain his freedom. The film was directed by Taika Waititi and is part of "Phase Three" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that includes Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Black Panther and will culminate in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War and 2019's Avengers: Endgame.

The following weapons were used in the film Thor: Ragnarok:

M16 (SP1)

Skurge (Karl Urban) keeps and wields dual M16-style rifles, including one that appears to be an M16/SP1. Aside from affectionately referring to them as "Des" and "Troy", he mentions acquiring them from Earth, specifically Texas, USA. The use of the M16 rifles are a direct reference to Skurge's appearance in the comic books.

M16A1

In a continuity error, the M16/SP1 rifles used by Skurge turn into M16A1s with forward assists.
