There, Far, Beyond the River (Tam vdali, za rekoy) is a Soviet 1975 adventure movie directed by Mikhail Ilyenko. Fyodor Panko, a young Red Army soldier, returns to his native village after the battles of the Russian Civil war. Together with his fellows, he joins a Soviet commune and withstands a gang of outlaws.
Revolvers
Nagant M1895
Nagant M1895 revolver is used by Fyodor Panko (Vladimir Shpudejko). Nagants are also seen in hands of the head of the local Red unit Ivan Yefimovich Sakhno (Vladimir Ivanov), bandits chieftain Yegor Karpovich Tarakanov (Yuriy Mazhuga) alias "Tarakan" ("Cockroach") and several bandits. Revolvers are of out of time post-1930 version.
Gasser M1873
A Gasser M1873 revolver is used by Vasya Dudar (Vladimir Shakalo). This revolver has the barrel, slightly cut just to the front sight, and appears to be the same prop, seen in Volny Chyornogo morya, filmed by the same studio around the same years.
Pistols
Mauser C96
Mauser C96 pistols are personal sidearms of Ivan Yefimovich Sakhno (Vladimir Ivanov), head of local Cheka Semyon Semechkin (Andrey Podubinskiy), Yegor Karpovich Tarakanov (Yuriy Mazhuga) and a bandit (Lev Perfilov). When Tarakanov is captured, his Mauser is seen in hands of Fyodor Panko (Vladimir Shpudejko).
Rifles
Mosin Nagant M1891/30
Village kommunars (Communards) and Tarakan's bandits use Mosin Nagant M1891/30 rifles, standing for original M91s.
Mosin Nagant "Obrez"
In the opening scene one of the trio of bandits (Yuriy Popelov) holds a Mosin Nagant "obrez".
Shotguns
Double Barreled Shotgun
A bandit (Anatoli Yurchenko) carries a double barreled shotgun.
Single Barreled Shotgun
An uncredited bandit carries what appears to be a single barreled shotgun.
Trivia
76.2mm (3-inch) M1909 mountain gun, fitted with makeshift wooden gun shield, is used by Ivan Sakhno's unit. Fyodor Panko (Vladimir Shpudejko) serves the cannon in action.
