The following weapons were used in the television series The West Wing:

The West Wing (1999-2006)

Beretta 92F

In the Season 1 finale "What Kind of Day Has It Been", one of the white supremacists that open fire on President Bartlet (Martin Sheen) is seen using a Beretta 92F.

Beretta 92F - 9x19mm. The cosmetic differences are very slight and hard to see. Most of the changes are the inner workings of the gun.

Desert Eagle

In the Season 1 finale "What Kind of Day Has It Been", one of the white supremacists that open fire on the President is seen using a stainless Desert Eagle.

A matte stainless Desert Eagle MK I - .357 Magnum. The weapon pictured here is an actual movie gun (from the inventory of Weapons Specialists, Ltd. in New York) and has appeared in several motion pictures.
The assassin at the bottom opens fire with the Desert Eagle.

SIG-Sauer P228

A SIG-Sauer P228 is fired by a Secret Service Agent in the Season 1 finale "What Kind of Day Has It Been". White House Communications Director C.J. Cregg (Allison Janney) mentions in a later episode that the weapon was a SIG-Sauer 229, but the weapon is in reality the 228.

A Secret Service Agent returns fire with the SIG.

SIG-Sauer P226

US Secret Service Agent Simon Donovan (Mark Harmon) pulls his SIG-Sauer P226 in Season 3's finale "Posse Comitatus".

A factory black (K-Kote) SIG-Sauer P226 pistol chambered in 9x19mm. This is a real movie gun and has appeared in several motion pictures.

In Season 3's "Posse Comitatus", USSS Agent Simon Donovan (Mark Harmon) draws his SIG after inadvertently stumbling upon a holdup at a Korean grocery.

Smith & Wesson Model 686

In Season 3's "We Killed Yamamoto" (S3E21), US Secret Service Agent Simon Donovan (Mark Harmon) is seen firing a .357 Smith & Wesson Model 686 on the range. C.J. Cregg (Allison Janey) also gets to shoot the revolver, but the recoil puts her on the ground.

Glock 17

A Glock 17 is drawn by Secret Service Agent Wesley (Taye Diggs) in Season 4's "Commencement".

A Generation 2 Glock 17 in 9x19mm. This model added finger stepping and cuts to the backstrap of the frame to make it easier to hold than the Generation 1 model.
USSS Agent Wesley (Taye Diggs) draws his Glock as he discovers that the President's daughter is missing in the Season 4 episode "Commencement".

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

In Season 2's "In the Shadow of Two Gunmen, Part II", SWAT officers are armed with the Heckler & Koch MP5A3's as they apprehend one of the suspects in the assassination plot against the President. In Season 3's "Posse Comitatus", a Black Ops team is seen using the A3 to take out a defense minister suspected of terrorist activities.
