The following weapons appear in the film The Taking of Pelham One Two Three:

Star Model B

Mr. Blue (Robert Shaw) draws a Star Model B when commandeering the subway train from the motorman, Denny Doyle, and when approaching the wounded undercover NYPD officer. This weapon alternates between the Star and a Browning Hi-Power, seen in both scenes. (However, the shapes of the grip panels when threatening the motorman more resemble a Hi-Power than a Model B in my opinion).

blued Star Model B - 9mm pistol from the movie The Untouchables (1987). This one is a screen used and fired handgun in the movie and was used by Kevin Costner on screen.

Mr. Blue threatens the motorman. The external extractor helps identify the weapon as a Star Model B.

Mr. Blue points his Star Model B at the motorman.

Mr. Blue approaches the wounded undercover officer.

Colt Detective Special

Mr. Green (Martin Balsam) and Mr. Brown (Earl Hindman) each carry a Colt Detective Special while taking over the subway train. The undercover NYPD officer also uses a Detective Special, drawn from an ankle holster, when he shoots at the hijackers after jumping off the train. Transit Authority Lt. Rico Patrone (Jerry Stiller) also keeps a Detective Special in a holster on his belt.

The undercover cop's Detective Special as he draws it from his ankle holster.

Browning Hi-Power

Whenever Mr. Blue (Robert Shaw) fires his pistol in the film (shown as a Star Model B), it becomes a Browning Hi-Power.

Browning Hi Power (Belgian Mfg) 1970s - 9mm

Mr. Blue threatens the motorman inside his booth.

Mr. Blue holds his Browning Hi-Power on the motorman.

Mr. Blue fires his Browning Hi-Power during a shootout with the undercover cop.

Mr. Blue takes cover during the shootout.

Mr. Blue aims his Browning Hi-Power.

Smith & Wesson M76

All the hijackers, Mr. Blue (Robert Shaw), Mr. Green (Martin Balsam), Mr. Gray (Hector Elizondo), and Mr. Brown (Earl Hindman), carry and fire Smith & Wesson M76 submachine guns throughout the film.

Smith & Wesson M76 - 9mm‎

Mr. Blue loads his S&W M76 prior to announcing the subway takeover.

Mr. Brown unfolds the stock on his S&W M76 in front of the seated conductor.

Mr. Blue threatens the hostages, telling them that his weapon "fires 750 rounds of nine millimeter ammunition per minute".

Mr. Gray harasses a hostage as he holds his S&W M76 next to her.

Mr. Gray stands near a subway window with his S&W M76.

Mr. Gray threatens another passenger with his S&W M76.

Mr. Gray refuses to hand his S&W M76 over to Mr. Brown.

High Standard Model 10

Several NYPD officers surrounding the train in the subway tunnels carry High Standard Model 10B bullpup-style shotguns with carry handles.

An NYPD officer seen near Inspector Daniels at the 28th Street subway station has an Ithaca 37.

The officer stands out of focus behind Daniels.

Colt Official Police

Transit Authority Patrolman James (Nathan George) carries a Colt Official Police revolver, identified by its front sight, medium frame, and ejector rod.

Smith & Wesson Model 10 Snub

Transit Authority Lt. Zachary Garber (Walter Matthau) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 10 Snub when confronting Mr. Blue.

Lt. Garber tells Mr. Blue to drop his gun.

Lt. Garber raises his Model 10 Snub when he tells Mr. Blue that New York no longer executes people.
