Lighthearted sequel to the same year's King Kong. Carl Denham (Robert Armstrong) and friends return to Skull Island in search of lost treasure and encounter a white-furred "little Kong," who proves friendly and helpful to them.

The Venture's crew mutinies upon arriving at Skull Island. In overpowering Denham and those loyal to him, they employ a variety of revolvers and rifles.

A sailor sticks his revolver into Denham's back. Smith & Wesson?
Mutineer leader Red (Ed Brady) carries what looks like a Colt Single Action Army.
Red keeps his revolver aimed at Denham while laying down the law.
Red threatens to pistol-whip Captain Englehorn (Frank Reicher).
Another sailor's revolver peeks in from offscreen right as Hilda Petersen is held prisoner and Denham tries to reason with the mutineers.
