The Shield - Season 2 (2003)

The following weapons were used in Season 2 of the television series The Shield:

Pistols

Smith & Wesson 4506-1

Detective Vic Mackey (Michael Chiklis) carries a Smith & Wesson 4506-1 .45ACP pistol as his sidearm throughout the series. This 4506 pistol had previously been used in the film Training Day (2001) by Denzel Washington.

Smith & Wesson 4506 - .45 ACP. This is one of the screen-used firearms carried by Denzel Washington in the film Training Day and also the television series The Shield. Thanks to James Georgopoulos.

Detective Vic Mackey (Michael Chiklis) pulls his Smith & Wesson 4506-1 in "Partners" (S2E03). Note that this 4506 has the stainless trigger. Mackey's 4506 typically has the blued trigger, meaning that there were at least two 4506s used on the set.

Vic holds his 4506 in "Barnstormers" (S2E07).

Beretta 8000 Cougar F

The Beretta 8045 Cougar F pistol is the main service pistol carried by Detective Ronnie Gardocki (David Rees Snell) and Detective Shane Vendrell (Walton Goggins) as well as Captain David Aceveda (Benito Martinez).

On the left, Detective Ronnie Gardocki (David Rees Snell) carries a Beretta 8045 Cougar F in "Inferno" (S2E11).

Beretta 92FS

The Beretta 92FS is the main service pistol for many police officers in the show, including Detective Curtis Lemansky (Kenneth Johnson), Detective Tavon Garris (Brian White), Officer Danni Sofer (Catherine Dent), and Officer Julien Lowe (Michael Jace).

The Beretta is held by a Sheriff's deputy in "Quick Fix" (S2E01).

On the left, Detective Tavon Garris (Brian White) carries a Beretta 92FS in "Inferno" (S2E11).

Glock 19

The Glock 19 is carried by several officers.

Glock 19 2nd Generation - 9x19mm

Officer Danni Sofer (Catherine Dent) draws a Glock pistol in "Dead Soldiers" (S2E02). This is likely a continuity error as she usually was seen carrying a Beretta 92FS in the series.

Revolvers

Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snubnose

Det. Claudette Wyms (CCH Pounder) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 19 snubnose revolver as her sidearm.

Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose - .357 Magnum

Det. Claudette Wyms (CCH Pounder) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 19 snubnose in "Partners" (S2E03).

Shotguns

Mossberg 500

Uniformed officers are seen armed with the Mossberg 500 throughout the series. Det. Curtis Lemansky (Kenneth Johnson) carries the Mossberg 500 in "Inferno" (S2E11)

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

SWAT officers carry the Heckler & Koch MP5A3, notably in "Inferno" (S2E11)
