The following guns were used in the movie The Postman


To Calmly86: Excellent job with the screenshots, they look great. I put them in proper thumb format so your captions show up and they can be size correctly. One note though, please try to credit the actors and link the guns and actors to their pages, even if the guns and pages do not exist yet. Also, adding stock pictures of guns is recommended. CAR-15

Used by Kevin Costner as well as Abby taken from Holnists. They were seen firing in semi-auto, meaning they might be civilian models that weren't converted to full auto.

M1 Carbine

Korean War Era M1 Carbine, with Birch Stock, Adjustable sight and bayonet lug. Most of the World War 2 variations of the M1 Carbine were sent back to the Military Arsenals and retrofitted with the Bayonet Lug and adjustable rear sight. This is the version seen after last 1945 and all the way until the 1960s.
