XM16E1
The majority of the US forces in the film are seen armed with what appear to be XM16E1 rifles.

Norinco Type 56
Norinco Type 56 rifles are the main rifles used by NVA forces in the film.

The M60 machine gun is used by American forces in the film both on the ground and mounted on Huey helicopters.
