Glock 19
Lt. John Moss (James Woods) uses a 9mm Glock 19 as his standard service pistol. This was the second film to show a Glock pistol, the first being Die Hard 2. The Glock 19 was not even a year old when this movie was released. At one point in the film, the Party Crasher (Stephen Lang) gets ahold of it and shoots Nick Lang (Michael J. Fox).
Smith & Wesson Model 10
When Nick Lang (Fox) explores John's (Woods) apartment, he finds a snubnosed .38 Smith & Wesson Model 10 and uses it as his weapon for the remainder of the film. At one point where Moss tries to grant Lang's wish of knowing what it's like to kill someone, he loads it with blanks and Lang "shoots" a street worker, who is really an undercover police officer hired by Moss to pose as Lang's target. Detectives Billy, Pooley, Grainy, and China (LL Cool J, Luis Guzman, John Capodice, and Mary Mara) also have this revolver.

In the subway shootout scene, a teenage mugger (Johnny Sanchez) attempts to shoot John (Woods) with a .32 Walther PP, but it misfires.
