Tell England, also known as The Battle of Gallipoli in the U.S., is a 1931 British war drama movie directed by Anthony Asquith and Geoffrey Barkas which is based on the 1922 novel of the same name by Ernest Raymond. The two friends Rupert Ray (Tony Bruce) and Edgar Doe (Carl Harbord) join the British army and take part in the fighting at Gallipoli in 1915.

The following weapons were used in the film Tell England:

Mauser Karabiner 98AZ

Some Turkish soldiers use Mauser 98AZ Carbines during the landing at "V" Beach and the last battle. This is anachronistic because the German Empire delivered their Mauser rifles to the Ottomans only towards the end of the war. So the Kar. 98 AZ may stand in for the Turkish Mauser 1905 Carbine.

Mauser Gewehr 1898

Turkish soldiers also use incorrect Mauser Gewehr 1898 rifles during the Gallipoli campaign instead of accurate Turkish 1893 and 1903 Turkish Mauser rifles.
