Tecumseh is a 1972 German historical adventure film from period The Second War for American Independence 1812. Young Indian Tecumseh (Gojko Mitic) was raised in a family of military contractor John McKew (Leon Niemczyk), together with his next children - siblings Simon (Rolf Römer) and Eileen (Annekathrin Bürger). Tecumseh and Eileen treat each other the love they disrupt the arrival of white settlers - trappers. Although John McKew it becomes the local judge, will not prevent the expulsion Tecumseh from the city for his Indian origins. He leaves to his people in the wilderness. He does not like how dealing with the Indians, their neglect, selling fire water, and the total devastation of the children of nature. It seeks to unite the tribes living in State Indiana, where is Governor William Harrison (Wolfgang Greese). Advisor to the governor becomes Simon, now promoted to colonel. Governor forces Indians to sell land and prohibits selling them arms. Eileen, which Tecumseh still loves his, will arranges transport weapons for Indians, but she is wounded and kidnapped. Her brother has accused the Indians of this and declared his fierce hunt on them. That continued even after it proved that his sister lives, she saved the Canadian hunter, whom she subsequently married. When the tribal chief was lured to a meeting in the city, the soldiers burned the Indian village and its inhabitants killed. Tecumseh is devastated after his return and intends to take revenge. Meanwhile, America declares war on England, British ask him for help. Commanding General Brook Indians promises everything, just to help him in war with the USA. Tecumseh achieved many successes in the fight and becomes a general of the British army. But General Brook (Mieczyslaw Kalenik) is assassinated and his successor, Colonel Procter (Helmut Schreiber) is racist and refusing to discuss with Indians about their requirements. Tecumseh and his people are ultimately betrayed by the British and die in battle with a superiority.
