I googled "Norinco 9mm police revolver" and the only sites I found that discussed this weapon were this one and Wikipedia which only mentioned it in passing in an article on law enforcement in China.  Is there an actual model name for this gun that is more recognized, because it seems very few know it as simply "Norinco 9mm police revolver"?

:Based upon reports from Chinese news sites, there is no official designation besides "9mm police revolver". Otherwise, the weapon is known to have been trialled starting from 2006 and entered service in the Public Security Bureaus of several major cities starting in 2009 as a replacement and/or supplement for the military pistols previously used (the Type 54, Type 77 and QSZ-92). The revolver is also capable of firing non-lethal rubber rounds. For some more information and photos, the following link is useful:

I googled "Norinco 9mm police revolver" and the only sites I found that discussed this weapon were this one and Wikipedia which only mentioned it in passing in an article on law enforcement in China. Is there an actual model name for this gun that is more recognized, because it seems very few know it as simply "Norinco 9mm police revolver"?

Based upon reports from Chinese news sites, there is no official designation besides "9mm police revolver".
