Kind of interesting that it was used in this movie given it's near collector status. As far as I understood the weapon was largely replaced in front line service by the PPsH 41 because of how expensive and complicated (as opposed to the relatively simple PPsH line) it was to make. --Charon68 00:11, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
Apparently someone had identified the PPDs as Suomi SMGs? I fixed it, since they're clearly PPDs. --Elbastardo1891
