:Maybe it is misinterpreted, but the '''F''' in ''IMFDB'' stands for Firearms, ''not'' cutlery. Unless the knife is very important to the main character or placed in discussion, we list guns here, not swords. - [[User:Gunmaster45|Gunmaster45]]

:Perhaps you'd like to explain to me then why rocket launchers and various explosive devices are named, then? They are definitely NOT guns.

Are we Sure Cruise has a Single Action Army? It looks like it might be an open top model, possibly an 1860 Cartridge Conversion.--68.102.156.139 22:49, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

It looks like you're right, I just looked it up and I found this gun called a 1860 Colt Army Revolver, it looks similar to a Single Action Army, but dosen't have the top part. When I saw it in the movie, I assumed it was an old fashion version of the SAA.
Its definitely a Colt cap and ball revolver converted for cartridges. In the picture in the article you can clearly see there's no top strap, and a plunger instead of the loading lever. If someone can find some screen-shots with a side view we might be able to figure out whether its an 1851, 1860 or 1861.--68.102.156.139 19:52, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

I would say you're right, it is the revolver you talked about. There are a few other scenes with it, but they're very brief. I'll fix the article right now.
