::Yeah, you're right.  This is a tough one.  As I look at it again, the barrel doesn't look very long...like it's a youth rifle or something.  I've scoured gun blogs, history sites, and auction sites, and this one continues to elude.  I'll keep looking.  [[User:Cozmo|Cozmo]] ([[User talk:Cozmo|talk]]) 11:20, 10 October 2016 (EDT)

On a different note, I find it kinda refreshing to see characters in a horror genre moment actually doing something like getting the gun that's in their reach to use...didn't work, but that's what you might do in real life even if you were a kid. The image is a bit blurry but the S&W revolver looks to have a shrouded lug which would make it a Model 66. StanTheMan (talk) 16:03, 14 August 2016 (EDT)

Thanks, I was going off an even worse picture when I was trying to ID it and thought there wasn't a shroud..--Quarax (talk) 18:39, 14 August 2016 (EDT)
Does anyone have an ID for Will's .22 bolt action seen in the 1st episode? Pyr0m4n14c (talk) 16:56, 24 August 2016 (EDT)
I couldn't ID it. I believe that and the revolver Jonathan takes are the last two we need to ID.--Quarax (talk) 00:24, 29 August 2016 (EDT)
I think Jon's revolver is a S&W Model 10. That's what I recall thinking when I first saw this show, but I haven't seen it in weeks so I'm not 100% sure. I do remember him asking a sporting good clerk for .38 ammo, so there's something. --PyramidHead (talk) 12:55, 29 August 2016 (EDT)
It is a Model 10. I've added it to the page along with a few screen-caps. Cozmo (talk) 11:59, 12 September 2016 (EDT)
I've made a note that the MP5K PDW should not exist since this show takes place in 1983 and some had UMP style stocks Excalibur01 (talk) 14:03, 29 August 2016 (EDT)
Were they all UMP-style stocks? I can't remember seeing an older MP5K-PDW stock.--Quarax (talk) 16:57, 26 September 2016 (EDT)
I think I saw SOME with the actual PDW stocks, but even those are still anachronistic. Excalibur01 (talk) 13:59, 27 September 2016 (EDT)

I need to double check Indiana gun laws back then, because let's assume these kids are under 18 or even if they are, gun stores in Indiana cannot sell handgun ammo to people under 21, the legal age to purchase a handgun. Excalibur01 (talk) 14:19, 12 September 2016 (EDT)

Will's Rifle

Got it! It's an old Mossberg 144LS. Took a couple of screen caps and a few hour's search on Gunbroker.com and the Googles, and voila. I'm creating a page for it right now so we can link it. Cozmo (talk) 20:45, 8 October 2016 (EDT)
