:Easiest way to tell that it is in a magnum calibre is the fact that it doesn't have the milled lightening cut above the magazine like the .308 version does. As for what calibre, I think it is .338 has I believe that the AI .300 Win Mag magazines have two grooves on the side rather than this which has just one. --[[User:Commando552|commando552]] ([[User talk:Commando552|talk]]) 04:58, 19 December 2014 (EST)

Please help ID

This rifle looks like an Accuracy International Arctic Warfare series, but not sure. Please help ID. --Ben41 (talk) 22:19, 18 December 2014 (EST)

Glock

Please help ID what model Glock this is. --Ben41 (talk) 05:35, 3 October 2014 (EDT)

Easier to tell size from the other side, but I'd say it's a full size model. 17 would be my guess based on the usual preference for 9mm.--Crazycrankle (talk) 07:37, 3 October 2014 (EDT)
Length wise I would say that it matches a Glock 17, however it clearly isn't a real one. Firstly, the finish on a lock would not look like that as it wears off, this just looks like black paint that is flaking off. Secondly, the rail is wrong for a real Glock looking more like a MIL-STD-1913 one. Thirdly, the takedown latch doesn't match that of a real Glock, looking more like that of a Walther P99. I would assume that this is some sort of airsoft/paintball/blank fire semi-replica, but I can't find a match. --commando552 (talk) 09:14, 3 October 2014 (EDT)
Typical, found it like 2 minuted after posting that. It is a Zoraki 917:
Zoraki 917 - 9x19mm
Judging by the poor quality of the finish and the fact that the white Zoraki markings are visible, my guess is that it might actually be the satin chrome version that has had the slide spray painted black. --commando552 (talk) 09:32, 3 October 2014 (EDT)
It does look like a Glock 17 mated with a Walther P99. Maybe that's why Glock hasn't sued them into the ground yet. --Funkychinaman (talk) 10:03, 3 October 2014 (EDT)
It is not available in the US since Glock sued the importer. --commando552 (talk) 10:20, 3 October 2014 (EDT)
Figures. --Funkychinaman (talk) 10:23, 3 October 2014 (EDT)

Howa 1500 varmint

Howa 1500 Varmint

A Howa 1500 varmint appears to be the rifle carried by Master Gunnery Sgt. Thomas Beckett (Tom Berenger). It's identified in the film as a "Remington .308". The rifle also is used by Brandon. Is not a Rem 710. I think is a Howa 1500.

Missing Guns

Sanaa pulled a SIG after losing her 917 during the fight with the hostile lady sniper. That sniper had what looked to be a Makarov. Both hostile snipers had what looked like Dragunovs.--Crazycrankle (talk) 17:48, 18 December 2014 (EST)
