Rapid Fire Beretta?

I think he might be bump firing his pistol, like in this video. Bump firing works better when you tilt the gun downwards and let gravity drop the trigger towards your finger, which is what happens here. --Wuzh (talk) 01:05, 12 July 2018 (EDT)

Beretta Centurion

I think Alejandro's Beretta might be a Centurion. The barrel is clearly flat with the front of the slide, as it doesn't stick out.--Thomas (talk) 11:45, 29 September 2018 (EDT)

I don't think so. Look at how much the edge of the slide extends past the frame. It looks more like a regular 92FS with a cut down barrel, likely to reduce snag when drawing (we've also seen those in some other movies). -MT2008 (talk) 15:14, 8 June 2019 (EDT)

My "Sicario" Daniel Defense M4A1 clone

Because I'm ridiculous: I decided to modify my M4A1 to resemble Matt Graver's (Josh Brolin's) Daniel Defense M4A1 from this movie; I think I've probably created the first-ever clone of this gun:

I already had the DDM4 for some time (equipped with my Aimpoint PRO and an FDE Surefire 600DF), but this year, I finally bought (1.) an FDE EOTech 553 (not marked "SU-231", as the one in the movie doesn't appear to be an issue SU-231), (2.) a black Surefire M720V RAID, and (3.) Troy BUIS. My gun is not a 100% clone, though. Key differences between my gun and the movie gun (at least as it appears in the Vickers Tactical video) are: (1.) I have a Daniel Defense vert grip, whereas the movie gun has a KAC grip, (2.) I'm running a Radian Raptor charging handle, whereas the movie gun just has the factory mil-spec charging handle (though I do still have the old one if I needed to replace), and (3.) I don't have the same backplate that's on the movie gun; it appears to have a CQD back plate replacing the factory QD back plate. -MT2008 (talk) 18:56, 10 August 2021 (EDT)

Very cool. I understand exactly. I own a Beretta 92FS and a Smith & Wesson Model 19. It took me a few years, but I finally acquired matching grips for both handguns so that they resemble the two carried in Lethal Weapon (1987). The only thing is that my Model 19 isn't Magna-Ported like the one carried by Danny Glover. Well that and my Beretta is actually a 92FS instead of a Beretta 92F, but close enough for government work. I respect that, and I don't think that there's anything wrong with wanting to own guns you've seen in the media. I feel like there are too many folks in the firearms community who partake in virtue-signaling about buying a gun due to its appearance in popular media (whether that's movies, TV, video games, or - nowadays - social media influencers' channels) and try to shame those that do. Personally, though, I've never been ashamed of the fact that I have an interest in guns in the movies, which is why I am an IMFDB member in the first place. Very true about the dent in one's budget. I don't pay attention to those people who try to shame one for buying a gun because they've seen it in the movies or television. It isn't all about preparing for the End Times. It's also about fun which they don't understand. I purchased a Smith & Wesson Model 28 thanks to Payback and a Mauser C96 (that one put a serious dent in my savings) because of numerous appearances in many movies, television shows and even comic books.
