The 6906 seen in the rear hip holster in "Original Sin".

You can see it's got no slide safety, but also has a hammer. This obviously ain't the gun shown in the example image. I didn't find anything else that matches. It looks like a 5946 which would make sence since it's authorised by the NYPD. But, it's got a hammer like the 5906. The hammer appears to be cocked back too. It definitely isn't a 5946/5943, as the pivot for the safety is too close to the back of the slide. On the DAO variants the rear of the slide is a different shape to the standard pistols, with it being larger at the back making this pivot and the rear sights be relatively farther away from the rear. I think that it is a 3913 LS, which is a SA/DA gun with a decocking safety only on the left side of the gun and un-spurred hammer which appears to match this. Also, to me it looks like you can just make out the sloped style of frame out of the front of the holster, along with the end of the "Lady Smith" engraving on the right side of the slide. --commando552 (talk) 18:35, 29 January 2016 (EST)

I concur with c552 on all points above and agree this is a 3913 LadySmith. What probably threw folks off was the black grips, as the 3913 LS and NL are usually seen with the beige/white grips. StanTheMan (talk) 02:01, 30 January 2016 (EST)

Nope, refer to my original post. The gun in the first screen clearly has an exposed hammer and no slide safety where the LadySmith DOES. In the recent episode, it's probably a different weapon, the LadySmith.--Thomas (talk) 04:14, 3 February 2016 (EST)

The 3913 LS has a slide safety, but it is non-ambidextrous being only on the left side of the slide. This screenshot only shows the right side of the slide, hence no safety. As for the hammer, the 3913 HAS a hammer. It is a spurless hammer, however the gun is a standard SA/DA gun with a decocking safety, the upshot of which is that when you pull the slide back to chamber the first round you end up with the hammer in the cocked position, exactly as shown in this shot. In real life you would engage the safety which would drop the hammer (and possible disengage the safety again depending on your preference) before putting it in a holster, but in this show they appear to have neglected to do this which in real life would be very unsafe. Disregarding all of this, it still wouldn't be a 5943 as the rear of the slide is the wrong shape, and as the 5943 is DAO it would be impossible for the hammer to be cocked backwards like this. --commando552 (talk) 11:37, 3 February 2016 (EST)
