The Ratmil Model 96 (Pistol Mitralieră model 1996 RATMIL, or PM md. 96) is an open-bolt, blowback operated submachine gun produced in Romania at Cugir Factory, chambered for 9x19mm Luger Parabellum. It features an AK-style folding stock, sights and safety. It is used by Romanian law enforcement and appears in American movies filmed in Romania. Not to be confused with the Sadu ASALT-96.
