:I think the pistol it most resembles is the [[Chamelot-Delvigne Model 1873]]. Is not a 100% match as it lacks the ejector, but there are several telling points that suggest this is what it is based on, such as the unfluted cylinder with the raised portion at the back, the reloading gate, and the large screw on the frame ahead of the cylinder. The Unidentified Revolver

According to a friend of mine, who I am in accordance with, it looks most similar to a Webley Bulldog.

I think the pistol it most resembles is the Chamelot-Delvigne Model 1873.
